Talent is not enough - every talented person will know that to be good in his craft has to develop it by practicing the gift God gave him! We were doing the concerts in Rio and he got up early went for a walk had breakfast and then went to the rehearsal room to practice - repetitions makes perfection or maybe closer to it and that is also a virtue!

luckily They're not remembering it. that would be impossible probably. They are improvising which is another way of saying "spontaneous composition".. so instant composing playing the things they are hearing in their mind in the moment.. and honestly maybe some stuff they aren't hearing considering the blistering speed.

@@brettprice527 When US jazz musicians started traveling to Cuba, they were amazed at the excellent technical, virtuosity, and musical knowledge Cuban musicians possessed. Then they discovered that Russia had sent their cream of music professors who prepared and trained Cuban musicians in all aspects of the musical spectrum. The best musical training on the face of the earth at that time by Russian masters. Wonderful.

Hi #jim Hendrix, during the cold war, a lot of russian music masters were sent to Cuba, not only to teach but also to establish the bases of the musical education program in the island, during that time a lot of kids were trained with the best of the classical russian school, that´s one of the reason why there´s many cuban musicians in jazz (Rubalcaba, Chucho Valdez, Horacio Hernandez... )that have flawless technique...
