Hi Ana, I saw good paintings only ! The portrait you made of your husband is so beautiful, just keep going. it needs more time to refine it. I suggest you could take a picture of him and measure few key points of his face, at the same scale on your computer as on your painting to check proportions. having a reference for the exact position of the two corners of each eye might be enough for you to get it right. For the first portraits it is so hard to get the exact proportion, have a few key points is a good help. to get the likeness, measuring is very important at the beginning. Masters do it by eye, but how many hours of experience. Painters are too hard on themselves sometimes. I also do woodworking, and in woodworking we are constantly measuring things, using jigs, tricks, when we want to make things perfect. Painting a portrait with likeness is such a difficult thing. It takes so much patience and accuracy. You are on the right path. Just keep loving what you do and believe in yourself. thank you for the beautiful video and inspiration. cheers
