Good and bad. Still searching for rust and still having charging issues in this episode

It's now time to see if the cheap fix on the alternator works. Taking the front wings off to see if there are any rusty bits. Going to start removing the glass too.

I love the pop out rear side windows with that little leaver for propping them open. I have the same set up on my L60. Amazing that the rust is fairly minimal.

Pop out side windows are so cool! In Japan there is no shortage of rotten cars. It's very solid considering the age and it being from a scrap yard. Thanks for watching

If you get chance, please film how you deal with those snapped bolts as it’s little things like this that I’m sure so many people encounter and struggle with. Or is it just me?

The trick I like is to clean the end of the snapped bolt with a grinder, then weld a nut on the end of the snapped bolt. The heat will release the bolt from the thread it's trapped in. Once it's out run a tap through the thread, and it should be good for a new bolt. Put never cease on the new bolt.

​@@DISCOSHOEBOX Yes I've used that method many times and it works! Sometimes if the thread is snapped flush you can center punch,Drill and tap. Old school but also works 👍
