I agree with your assessment of the bag. It's plain, unassuming, a bit boring and 'generic' in design in many ways. I too, would pass on that bag. I think the quote you were looking for at the end was "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." My company receives well over 200,000 incoming job applications year, and we reject a lot of really good, talented people. Why? Because talent isn't enough. It's one of the minerals of a good employee, but not the only mineral we need. Keep up the great work!

Thanks. That was the quote I was looking for

I actually think this design language would work better as a 35-40l travel pack rather than an everyday bag.

Interesting point. That would be interesting to see in that size

The Bruce Lee quote you mentioned... "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." Thank you for sharing the "insides" of your work... You really got great taste in edc stuff. Keep going strong...

For the features, use case and price of the bag, the Boundary Supply Rennen is a strong competitor. It tics two of your cons of this bag and it has more colour options. Honestly the 100-120 USD space is a pretty competitive in general.

That is a good recommendation, although I haven't tested the Rennen myself yet

I think the problem with this one is that the bag is just a very expensive version of the Jansport but from a company that review bags so it’s just odd how you don’t get loads of value of it for what you pay
@Youknowthebo5 ай бұрын
I get what you are saying in terms of looks or feature layout. However, I want to add that the Rushfaster adds a lot of great materials and amazing construction compared to a Jansport. Therefore I believe the price is justified.

Thanks for the clip, bro! U have pointed out quite most necessary requirements for an EDC. Especially in the "Pros and cons" part, regarding to "hand carrier and the ability to stand itself of the bag". Totally agree and about to voice out since most of the EDC reviewers don't point out, but for me it is very important and so annoyed with those bag without that functions. Furthermore, I also only choose the bag with seperated compartment for Laptop (16 inch) (easy to access without open all compartments of the bag) + protection from the zipper (which if doesnt have, would definitely damage your lap). Referring to the freelancer potential characteristics, I've got a bit different views from yours as following order: (from my experience to be both roles: the client + the freelancer) 1. Talent: this is the most required and ranked the first cause without it, will be nothing no matter how good person/ good attitude/ good finance you are. Sometimes if you are good and talented, client will still work with you even you are a bit hard to work with. (For Ex: most movie directors, or fashion designer...) 2. Attitude: be positive with can-do attitude, punctual, hard working and adaptable. 3. Communication: should be fluent and smart communication with client, partner or colleague to get things done quick. 3. Finance: can be at the end cause if you have the first three, the 4th will come. Cheers!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you in terms of talent: It is very important. I guess what I was trying to bring across: I see too many people plainly relying on their talent while being very difficult to work with. But I also see so many people being discouraged to "just start" because they fear that they lack talent. I think there needs to be a good balance, but also if someone isn't as talented than the competition, there still is a good chance to either keep up due to a lot of experience and practice and /or be more booked than the person with supposingly more talent if you are a good team player.

@@Youknowthebo Sounds reasonable, bro!👌 However, the talent is so vital, specially in the creative work (advertising, art, music...) and it tend to know as born to be not train or try to be. If you have no talent, no matter hard work you are still could not deliver the task.🙃 In addition, talent is not enough to be success but also know how to work and cooperated and etc. That will complete the positive talent!👍

Agreed. Obviously if you can't sing and have no talent at all, starting a music career will be very difficult 😅 Yes, you need to have some talent. But I guess what I try to bring across: for anyone who might think your talent isnt enough, you can balance it with enough practice and experience. For those who have a lot of talent, please do not sleep and just rely on your talent.

Looks a little like the new Aer stuff. Which are super boring black slabs. :/ Simple design doesn't have to be boring. GoRucks have been around forever. As have evergoods stuff. The new alpaka metro backpack looks better too. Hard to stand out looking like that. But I guess more options are always welcome! I'm sure a minimalist or someone who wants the low profile look will love this.

Boring 😴 Hard pass. Rushfaster could have made a cool bag. Big fumble, then recovered only to be tackled for a safety 😊
