because when they put so much stock and resources into making f2p animations really good that takes away from making the summonable characters’ animations as crisp as possible. and (i believe) they have a certain budget for each celebration, so they cant afford to just put extra money into the summonable characters and keep the f2p animations good at the same time

​@@joeythomas14 So what? 17's just doing a generic ki blast attack. The animation is 5 seconds long, 3 of which is just a energy traveling and engulfing the enemy. It's like 1% effort for making it 20x better than the basic 2015 animations. I understand it if it's something like taking an iconic character attack with great animations and tossing them to an irrelevant character (or card art, i.e: Majin Vegeta blowing up the stadium), but what we have with 17 is not "so much stock".
