18TDs to 1INT with first and 2nd year "no-name" players over the 2nd half of the season was MVP level impressive tbh. Props from bears nation.

Uhhh no because the teams record wasn't good and he was a disaster. In year two if he keeps this up then you're on to something. Nobody mentioned him in the same breath as Brock Purdy because JL has more to prove.

I never understood why people thought he would be bad... had years to learn under Aaron Rodgers, played well during his preseason matches, showed the ability to quickly read defenses even in his early years, extremely accurate in the pocket. It's crazy to think Green Bay might have 4+ decades of generational quarterback play from three different quarterbacks... unreal.

Yes he is, he has rookies and second year players as receivers and TE's and he's soing this? It,s not like he had Kelce and Tyreek. And he has a great attitude too, seems like a great leader, so if he has the intangibles too, watch out

Jordan love prove two things one. He's a top 10 quarterback in the NFL. Two The Packers day right by him by letting him sit behind Aaron Rodgers for 3 years and learn that's is an underrated thing to do in today's climate where everybody is quarterback happy sometimes. If not most of the time, it's best to let a first round high pick sit behind someone and let them learn

His real ultimate test is bringing the Packers back from behind when they aren't running and blocking so great. Until then he just needs to protect the football and do his part to keep the offense super balanced.

Since week 8 (Oct 29) vs Vikings (probably the lowest moment for Love this season) he has only had one bad game (vs Giants). But don't forget in that Giants game he was good in the second half and led a game winning TD drive at the end. But the defense couldn't stop DeVito and gave up a game winning FG.

Giants, Buccaneers and Panthers struggles were more a result of a weak defense. Also, losing Aaron Jones for so much of the season was difficult to overcome. Regarding SB…Rodgers struggled with young receivers. If your name wasn’t Davante, Randall or Allen, you weren’t getting throws unless they were hurt.

I would not blame Jordan for almost losing against the Panthers. Thats a Joe Barry special. Giants 50/50 split. He should have been better, but my 1 year old nephew could have called a similar game that Barry called.

He's more Stafford than Rodgers'. Absolutely wow/effortless at times, but just enough "backyard football" tendencies to make the occasional mistake due to his footwork, etc. I feel like he's willing to take more chances than Rodgers ever was down the field, especially considering the injury carousel of his skilled supporting cast.

This all sounds pretty familiar. In 2013 starting quarterback Michael Vick was injured in a game while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. So back up quarterback Nick Foles stepped in and tied an NFL Record with 7 touchdown passes in one game against the Raiders. That game also saw Nick Foles have a perfect passer rating. Nick Foles at one time in 2013, had an incredible passer rating with 27 TD passes and 1 interception. People talked about him, the same way they are now talking about Jordan Love. However, as time went by, people, being so forgetful, forgot things. Two years later Nick Foles was traded. Three years later 2016, Nick Foles was out of football. Many people forgot all of those things about Nick Foles 2013 season, when the Philadelphia Eagles paid him 7 million dollars to come back and be the backup to Carson Wentz in 2017. That was more than the Eagles were paying the starter Carson Wentz. Carson Wentz got injured, late in that season and his backup Nick Foles stepped in again, and tied 3 more NFL records in the playoffs that year. Then he became the Super Bowl MVP when the Eagles beat the Patriots. The Eagles paid Nick Foles 20 million in 2018 to be the backup to Carson Wentz, which was more than 3 tines what they paid starter Carson Wentz. Wentz got inured late in the season again and Foles stepped in. Foles set the Eagles record with 471 years passing in a game against the Houston Texans and got the Eagles into the playoffs. During the 2018 playoffs, Wentz was injured and Foles was the starter again. They beat the Bears based on "the double doink" field goal (It hit the goal post and the cross bar and did not go through) attempt by the Bears, but they lost a close one to New Orleans, 20 to 14. By the way,, New Orleans slaughtered the Super Bowl champ Eagles during the regular season game when Wentz was the quaterback that year, 47 to 3. That was the worst beating any Super Bowl champ ever suffered in the next season. The point is, this talk about Jordan Love reminds me a lot about Nick Foles in 2013. Jordan Love's moment of fame may be very quickly and very very easily forgotten.
