You're sat in the meeting room, another day at work. The higher ups want to talk about expenses and new hires, you just hope this is over soon so you can grab some of the pizza in the break room before it's all gone. Your boss comes in, he puts down his notes and opens his laptop. He looks up and realizes there's no projector, he sighs in annoyance and picks up his phone to request for a projector to be brought in. Before sitting down to wait. You're glad you got promoted to the point where you don't have to be the one to transport those things anymore, they're massive, heavy and somehow always have at least one bad wheel, not to mention the massive elastic power chord needed for the things to work. You wait, annoyed about this setback and bored out of your mind. Then you hear a crash, then several more then the sound of something shattering. You look around to your colleagues in the darkened room in confusion, you can't really see outside because the meeting room had no windows. What was that? Suddenly the wall explodes outward, debris and broken glass flying everywhere. The table is broken in half and you're sent to the other side of the room with it. You hit the wall and feel the table crushing your pinned organs. You're treated to the sound of your spine snapping like a toothpick. You can't feel your legs. You probably have internal bleeding. With the last of your rapidly depleting strength you look up. You see the new guy, the boss's son, climbing through the newly opened hole in the wall. You had met him before a couple times at the company parties, he seemed utterly clueless but excited nonetheless, you remember that he was recently given a job here, at the bottom of the company. The last words you hear are from his mouth: "Okay, we're here folks!"
