I finally started getting to the point where LW on K&M feels properly good (and I can hipfire DMT at long ranges as if it's still pre-nerf, and actually outgunned a controller last word or two) and I consistently land my shots with it and such. (113 kills in crucible on my LW, all K&M) And then saw this nerf. I was happy that controller would be brought more in line with K&M... before realizing they decided to also nerf the K&M version alongside it as part of it. pain at least 450rpm autos are finally getting the buff they need edit: "why does this gun make me so happy to use" same here man, even when I'm not doing well with it

I'll be honest, even after the actual nerf to the gun it's still good if you know how to play with it and work the maps. I actually got my first We Ran Out of Medals with the nerfed Last Word in 6v6 control on Disjunction out of all maps. I just controlled my engagements, played mostly around B flag and used a Warlock with Empowering Rift, Devour and Child. I'm slowly building my kills up with it, I've got 1500 so far.

The gun was perfect on PC with controller before any of the changes. The higher FOV and fps made the recoil a non issue. All it needed was a slight m+k nerf. That said, I love the identity it has now and am afraid that the nerf will make it just another side arm but one that takes an exotic slot.

I went flawless 5x this weekend with mnk Last Word, and we'll see how many I get during flawless pool. It's such a shame it's getting nerfed on MNK because of sticks, it was alot of practice to get where I am with it, so rewarding. I guess practice sidearms on MNK even though they feel inconsistent.
