My dermatologist recommended this to me today for my undereyes which are becoming more wrinkled and puffy. I bought three tubes. I love it already. Tried it on my 97 year old mom and she loved it as well. Looking forward to see how my skin responds to continued use.

I have only seen benefit from one product that I used an eye cream because it was too dense for the entire face: Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream. Basically a thick cream with peptides and growth factors. Brand is carried by Ulta in America

I use the Acure Whipped Night Cream around my eyes and on my face. I love how it feels. It goes on thick but sinks in. It seems to smooth out some imperfections and gives a slight matte finish.

I’m a very sensitive girly from head to toe and so I’m very sceptical about using any skin care product. No eyecreams worked for me ever, until I found this Yerba mate eyegel. I think I am the only Paraguayan who does not like yerba mate, but very occasionally I drink a kind of yerba mate tea, we call it "cocido" and it is obtained by burning the yerba with sugar, particularly now they are sold in tea bags, very nice. Thanks for the video Dr. Anne, my sincere thanks !
@DoctorAnne3 жыл бұрын
Oh, burned with sugar? As in caramelized? That actually sounds delicious!
@belensolalinde7123 жыл бұрын
@@DoctorAnne Traditionally, sugar and yerba mate are burned with a fathom of charcoal, in fact, they are caramelized, and then everything is boiled in water and it becomes a kind of infusion. But you can caramelize the sugar in a pot, add the yerba mate to warm them up, then add water and boil. The smell and taste are unique when burned with firewood, I hope you can ever taste it ! :)

Thank you for comparing the two products cos I was in a dilemma of which to go for. Even with the Inkey list range I narrowed down to Caffeine and not retinol cos of your reviews. I have dark circles and starting to notice fine lines btw. Am I on the right right with the caffeine?
@DoctorAnne2 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. It surely is a good one for fine lines and slight darkness, but depending on the cause of your dark circles, maybe a retinol eye cream would be better. I use Caffeine in the mornings and a retinol one (from Murad) at night, because I feel like I need some retinol action at my age. I am 43 already though, so things might be different for you. I did a video on the causes for dark circles here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIHWYWiXoLmNj68

@@DoctorAnne thank you for responding. Yes I caught up with ALL your videos on eyes and eye creams lol. I just started using retinol cream last night (I’m 34) and I had gently massaged it around my eyes dark spots and presently watching to see if there is any irritation cos I didn’t get any from the patch test. So perhaps I give caffeine a try for day time and for night I can always gently massage it around the eyes on nights I am on retinol. Starting out with once per week for now.

@@DoctorAnne thank you so much. that video helped me a lot! i’m going to try Inkey list retinol eye cream since it has more to do with why i experience hyperpigmentation under my eyes as well as wrinkles. plus, it’s super affordable. i also saw good molecules brand sells Gentle Retinol Cream online only. on their website it says “Good Molecules Gentle Retinol Cream is a gentle treatment to help soften the look of fine lines and wrinkles” so, i MIGHT try that one as well unless i can’t use it underneath my eyes (it has 0.1% of retinol, wondering if that may be too strong which can cause irritation?)!
@DoctorAnne3 жыл бұрын
@@kelceynicole I don‘t know the Good Molecules product, so i can‘t comment on that, but if it is advertised for around the eyes, I am sure it has been tested there. I have White skin, so sometimes not even my concealer can cover my eyebags. I Will really appreciate if you can tell me which product Will be better for my needs. Hope you are safe! I have a video on dark circles under the eyes that I recommend you watch for a deeper explanation why I don't think either of the creams will deliver the results you are looking for: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIHWYWiXoLmNj68 As for your question: Both will work for you, and a retinol cream formulated specifically for the eyes will not be too strong for you, but I do understand if you feel too young to use a retinoid yet. This Yerba Mate one is lovely hydrating and lightweight, which is probably good for your skin in general.

Hi Dr. Anne, I just found your channel and I’m fascinated by it, I just subscribed! I also want to ask for your recommendation, see I just turned 18 but I’ve struggled with dark under eyes and sunkness for a few years now. I’ve never used anything because I honestly never cared about it until now. So, from what I learned from your video I think that the eye cream from the Inkey list that you mentioned would work better for me taking into consideration that I do not struggle with puffiness but with very thin skin, right? Btw, sorry for my English, my first language is Spanish
@DoctorAnne3 жыл бұрын
Hi Cristina. From what you describe it might be hyperpigmentation as well as thin skin - are you fair or are you darker in skin tone? For both a retinol or a Vitamin C might be a better choice as eye cream. I will have a dedicated video on eye creams up next week or the week after that will go more into that.
