every one knows that it is safe to cut in front of a 65 000 kg truck because you have more tires than them to stop you, plus the wet road helps you stop faster....... every 5 years there should be a drivers test for people

Or in the least, better/mandatory professional training that is equal through all provinces. I would go as far as including towing in the training as the RV world seems to be a bit of a wild west. Let's not forget the everyday joe/jolene having utility trailers that are unproperly loaded.

Yes, of course it's safer being in front of a rig when slaming on the breaks too.

☕☕🍪🍪🍪☕☕🍪🍪, Tanya is joining us today. Happy painting Juan, and though you're not along for the ride Jess, you still need your 'pick me up' as well, enjoy your day!

Yes, painting seems like the right term.

@37:12 Heres an example of something like that. My father in law is a retired longshoreman. He would travel from Chilliwack to Delta whenever he had a shift. It got to a point that he had to do 2 months straight so rather than driving that distance he just stayed at our apartment for those 2 months where we lived at that time in Surrey. It was much easier for him. My wife and I have moved 4 times now but always lived in Surrey. We are trying to move one more time into our final home which we are hoping to buy one day also in Surrey. Cant leave Surrey since my wife has a wonderful job in Surrey.

I don't miss those dark, gloomy winter days at all. I commuted from Surrey to Kitsilano once from September to December and had enough. By January, I was back up north. Colder, but much sunnier and no traffic.
@JuanRempelАй бұрын
Agreed, There is no way I could handle that traffic every day

@37:31 When i worked for Guardteck Security I did my usual graveyard shift and then went to Whistler and worked out there and we got paid for being driven out there so we got paid 11 hours instead of the usual 8 hours for 1 weekend back in 2019.

Aw man Juan! You had me...I thought I was finally going to get to see Modern terminal...😭 Oh well. Haha another time maybe. Have you been to Lulu yet? I'm curious about that one too. I'm such a nerd omg.
@JuanRempel25 күн бұрын
No, I've never gone to Lulu, it's pretty rare for me to go to Modern, there's not much to see there, it's just a lumber warehouse.
@zefwoodelf25 күн бұрын
@JuanRempel ya I suppose so. They sound so fussy there with their appointments and whatnot...I guess I'm.just curious what it's like there...like what's so special about them to be so demanding

Ya know Juan it's been a lot of years since I drove, but watching you drive through that heavy traffic with all the 4 wheelers darting all over the place, nothing, but nothing has changed since I drove, I always told myself after I stopped driving I would open a school and teach people how to m-e-r-g-e, merge, big word boys and girls, it's a very hard maneuver to do, gads, I used to yell "push on your gas pedal ya goof ball, don't just dribble out into traffic going 50 to 60 mph......................oh well, take care................................see ya
