Hello Juan, East Van is my home turf - near 12th and Commercial, and I used to work at Mitchel Island about 20 years ago in Auto Wrecking. Never thought I would see your truck making a turn at Commercial and 12th Ave. You're lucky making that large U-turn not getting hung up in construction zones. However, in your business it turned out to be a good day.

Well Juan I'm glad it's you. I can feel your pain. Kinda nice to be retired now. Although, I do miss the over the road work pin to pin. Driving in the lower mainland really sucks anytime. Man without this turn around you'd be closing in on Chilliwack by now. Drive safe.

Loved the way you hooked up to your trailers, I always called it kissing the pin, how soft can you hook up, lean out the window and listen to hear the jaws snap around the pin. Change in plans, don't ya just love it, look at it as a Growth experience......Naw it's just a pain in the butt. 😁

Yeah, it's a little bit of an art form, getting that perfect hookup. I often don't get it right and get to reorganize the sleeper.

When I saw the map at the start of the video, I wondered why you were taking such a long horrendous roundabout route. It soon became clear why. What an Arschweh (as the Germans would say).

It definitely was an Arschweh, but sometimes plans just get messed up. Funny thing is, the chaos kept going, the load ended up to tall for my permit, so I didn't even take the load, and by that time we had wasted to much time and I couldn't even grab the original load, so I headed back empty.
