Gotta' love Shelley. Her favorite scene from the film showing Donna on the phone with Jimmy, trying his best to fight feelings he was beginning to have for her. George Bailey is scolding her, and makes her start to cry...and all of a sudden they both realize that they love each other so very much. Dearest Shelley...my favorite scene, too! When you were asked that question I waited for your answer hoping you'd feel that THAT scene, in a film full of wonderful and heartfelt scenes, would be your favorite. And I love the look on Mary's mom's face when she realizes that her daughter was going to end up with George instead of the rich gentlemen. It's priceless...and so are you, Shelley.

@RJRanke The TV stations played it because it fell into Public Domain and they didn't have to pay for the right to air it...Thats when people discovered IAWL.

Yes it is.....and who knows better bout IAWL then Shelley & Jimmy.... 2 of Elvis co-stars in "SPINOUT". They were better in "GIRL HAPPY"...But it was a better movie.
