Yes, fly low and fast to the flanks and do not underestimate the range of Hydra rockets, with practice you can learn how to start shooting from long ranges, also bind a key for manual roll in controls, it helps so much with controlling the chopper and the most important thing in my opinion when using AH-1G always use the virtual pilot view when firing Hydra rockets (F4 Button By Default).
