@miss.l.15633 жыл бұрын
Her British accent didn't come through. Us Brits don't pronounce it like that. We pronounce it ad-ver-tize-munt.
@JKwoftw3 жыл бұрын
The two Brits on this thread may pronounce it ad-ver-tize-ment, but every time you hear it on a british TV show or a youtube channel explaining british pronounciation, it's ad-ver-tiss-ment. So maybe there is some percentage of Brits who pronounce it the former way, but nobody in the US uses the latter, which is why the Americans caught it and immediately identified it as stemming from Claire's native accent.
@drivewaystar64853 жыл бұрын
Thanks you for the unnecessary analysis. We know theres a difference in "ad-ver-TISE-ment" and "ad-VER-tise-ment" and she clearly said it the British way.
