"Good Morning" - Lochside Elementary School (Grades 2 - 3)

Lochside Elementary School in Saanich, BC is proud to share our version of “Good Morning”. We start each school day at Lochside with the greeting ÍY,ȻEĆIL from the SENĆOŦEN language, which is the traditional Indigenous language of our area. Our grade 2 & 3 students worked together in music class to co-write our arrangement of Jeremy & Jazzy’s catchy song to include representation of the many diverse languages that make up our thriving school community. The students, aged 6-8, are performing this song - singing greetings in 25 beautiful languages. We are so excited to share our good morning greetings with you!
