Second, they don’t have tadpole babies, but instead hatch mini baby frogs. And third they cannot hop, but they crawl fast if they wanted to.

I can explain the butts! It's the same as humans, since we stand up straight our butts are mostly muscle and are relatively big. The potatoes don't jump but instead crawl and burrow, so their butts are far more developed than other frogs who go for muscular legs instead.

This frog is very cute and I would love to have one as a pet in my garden, I realise though that he’s quite unique. I’m in the UK and have frogs and toads in our ponds I love looking for them and saying hello. I am very protective of them.
