You sent me a message to get in touch with you and I never could find your email address. I’m not the smartest mule in the barn. I’ve lost a few too. Something my dad told me probably 50 years ago that I’ve never forgotten. He said “if you don’t have any you can’t loose them”. So ever since then when we loose one that gives me comfort knowing that is just part of having them. Sorry for your loss.

Greetings from the Great Sioux Nation in South Dakota. Im an old man, Army vet, in my 70s, retired, I live along the Big Sioux River with my three black labs ( I just had to put the oldest down a couple months ago). Ive watched your videos for @year now and so many have Agnes in them its just so neat to be able to see her in action. I guess if we lived 100 years ago I hope you"d be a Josey Wales to me being a Dakota(Sioux)? Always loved horses, we would break BLM mustangs ( could afford them, lol) but some of the best horses ever especially on long rides. I can see how therapeutic it is for you when your out traveling and camping with your Mules and dogs, double win cause its healthy to boot. I did alot of hunting and trapping growing up, we lived off the land, yes sir and it was a good way of life, raised on whitetail,walleyes and such. Well you ole Cowboy (sunka-wakan wicasa- cowboy) keep up with the videos, be good, be careful, be happy! Im looking into someway to help u out with your travels, my son will help me do this. Brett, I'm sorry to hear about Big Agnes. She was a good worker and companion. I even named my little black heifer after her, loved the name. The tenacious little thing she was. :) A man is lucky to have had a good horse/mule, a good wife, a good friend, a good rifle, and a good dog in his life. Those who haven't, have not lived a full life. God speed, amigo. I'll keep my ear to the ground for you.

Brett, I’m so sorry to hear about Big Agnes, she was surely a great mule and will sorely be missed! My wife’s gelding died from Colic and it’s a hard thing to watch, especially when our Vet gave him 2 seditive shots and did all he could do! Big Agnes isn’t hurting anymore and is resting in peace now. Y’all have great memories together.
