Since we know who is going to be in the 4.8 update, let's count how many free pulls you can get before the first phase ends. If you're planning to pull for Navia or Nilou, or maybe you want to save primogems for the Yelan and Emilie banners, this video will be useful for you.
Let's start with dailies.
9 days in 4.7 plus 21 days in the first phase of 4.8 give us 30 days of daily commissions, totaling 1800 primogems.
Unfortunately, there is nothing left in 4.7: no new events or abyss resets, only dailies, so let's move on.
We have a new limited map in 4.8 which will be released in the first phase. If you clear it in the first phase, you will get around 900 primogems.
A new summer event will also be available in the first phase. For completing it, we will get 1000 primogems, a free Kirara, and a free skin for Kirara. By the way, since free characters and free weapons rotate every patch, we can say that in 5.0 we will get a free weapon. But which one it will be is unknown at this moment.
Another sub-event in the first phase will grant us another 420 primogems.
Also, when version 4.8 goes live, we will get 600 primogems for server maintenance compensation. On top of that, we will get an abyss reset. Even though abyss rewards have been increased from 600 to 800, the abyss itself has become even harder. So let's take floor 11 as the end and add another 600 primogems to the count.
Now to the Imaginarium Theater.
Since a lot of people struggle to clear it, in 4.8 The Imaginarium Theater will be improved. In the future, there will be an emphasis on reactions instead of character blocks by element, and more comprehensible mechanics will be introduced. Since we don't know how much easier it will be, let's take 550 primogems as the estimate.
I forgot to mention, Imaginarium Theater will reset on August 1st, as well as Stardust Exchange.
From Paimon's shop, we will get 5 Intertwined Fates, or 800 primogems if we convert it.
Another 60 primogems will come from HoYoLAB daily check-in.
60 primogems from the new redeem code that will be released as 4.8 starts.
And around 100 primogems from web events.
Well, that's everything we have.
We have 6890 primogems, and if we convert it to Intertwined Fates, we will get 43 pulls.
If you have Welkin, then it's an additional 16 pulls, so 59 in total.
Maybe some of you wonder how many primogems are left in 4.7; it's actually very few, around 540, since we only have dailies.
If you wonder how many free pulls you can get in the whole 4.8 update, it's around 57 pulls as an F2P and 80 pulls as a Welkin haver. If you are interested in a more detailed count, you can check my video about total pulls in 4.8.

I have won 5 consecutive 50/50s on my account, I downloaded the game and created my account during Neuvillete first launch and got him at first 10 pulls then i played until ar 22 and deleted the game, then i came back again just for Arlechino banner and sad i couldn't be able to get her because only 4 days were left, then what i did i skipped wanderer and baizhu, pulled for clorinde got her at 70 pulls, after that i also decided to go for Alhaithm and luckily i also won 50/50 on that one as well got him at around 75 pulls, then i gather my primogems for Furina i was having a bad feeling because i already won 3 consecutive 50/50s and this time i have feeling of losing it but guess what i got Furina at 53 pulls and i also got her signature weapon at 65 pulls. 😁😎

Actually there won't necessarily be a free weapon in 5.0, 2.8 gave a free Fischl theb 3.0 gave a Collei, and also 3.8 gave Layla and 4.0 gave Bennett. They don't seem to always follow this trend for X.0 versions.

"the abyss became harder" It's still easier than the imaginarium theatre, as it doesn't rely on random factors for accessing our units. Also it doesn't need us to have artifacts built for a crapton of characters in very specific elements, that we might not even use much... With the current lineup, I for example am majorly screwed, as I have none of the special guest star characters, but my 4 strongest DPS units are cryo/hydro/geo... 5th being electro and 6th being pyro doesn't really help much, as I can't run hyperbloom which the electro unit is built for; so the only decently built DPS I can bring in and use as well is Diluc. Atleast I can bring in Xianyun and Bennett with him for a plunge build.

I have heard that Yelan was a really nice character to get but I went for Furina so I'll skip summoning next banners ! I am actually looking for a 4th member in my Neuvilette Furina Nahida team, and was honestly just thinking about getting Raiden in it so might save my primos for her when she comes back !

Honestly, Raiden is the best choice for hyperbloom. She applies electro more often than kuki and can do so with the skill alone so you don't really need to level the other talents. Another positive is that she ascends on er so even if you just slap some random em pieces and don't even attempt to build her she can still provide some decent energy, especially if you manage to land some er substats. I missed the nahida banner so now i'm running dendro traveler built full er (he needs the burst) with random artifacts, some of which are not even lvl 20 and lvl 6 talents. Same goes for Raiden: lvl 80, skill lvl 7 and around 700 em with 13/110 crit split. Even with that she still helps out a lot with neuvi's past draconic glories stacks and when she triggers hyperbloom it does sting quite a bit. Combined with a poorly built furina (just got her) i can one cycle the marechausse hunter domain despite having only 1 character I spent more than half an hour on building. In short, would definetly recommend.

@@aletheredstoner1110 Oh thanks you ! I was actually in doubt on whom to summon next since I mannaged to get Fischl Yesterday ! Can't build her yet but I thought, " If I have Fischl why would I go for Raiden ?" But I did figured out that when you play Raiden in hyperbloom you don't need a huge build only EM so yeah seems quite nice for a f2p (I only buy battlepass) !

@@eliesage8030 yeah the benefit with raiden over fischl is that she doesn't need the burst for electro application so you don't need to care about er and can just slap on some random em pieces and still get like 80% of the damage a full invested raiden would give. Plus as I said she still helps with energy on her own so she lowers er requirements for furina together with neuvi. Another thing is that hyperbloom raiden doesn't really get much from cons, while for a hypercarry she would really like c2 iirc.
