To be honest, Gilva also accepts rips from other people to post on the channel under his own name. A person I know online sent him one through email asking if he would like to post it, Gilva thanked and replied that it would be posted under the channel name, without any original credit, and they agreed on it. So I'm guessing at least a few of the rips are from other people, but still, it's a lot of work with so many uploads a day.

My father died when I was 3 years old, and I was taken care of by my mother. Got friends in school, reached highschool and my mother dies due to a virus. I had to take care of myself from now on. Suicide was a choice I thought about, but my friends motivated me to go on with life. This rip reminded me of the lullabies my mother always sang to me when I was little, before going to bed. this. this god damned rip right here. as strange as it sounds, i had heard of undertale in the past, but never really looked into it before. wasn't aware of porter robinson's existence, heard of siivagunner in the past, never really watched more than a couple rips, then i stumbled on this one, here. figured i'd take a listen one night while it was raining, a while after it was first uploaded, just about 3 years ago on the mark, in october 2016. god damn, i don't think any other rip has made me cry, even now. and i don't mean the "i shed a couple of tears at the end" kinda cry, i mean midway through the song, first time i listened, i just started sobbing for no real reason. but it was such a good song, i put it on loop for most of that night. fell asleep listening to it that night. this fucking rip got me into undertale, way after the hype had died off. it got me into siivagunner's channel because there are some gems in here, even if i'm not often one to comment. hell, looked up porter robinson and he's now one of my favorite more calm music artists out there, too. i gotta say, though, the undertale bit has been the most important to me. it's such a good game, even after the fandom came in. and not all of the fandom is bad, either; i met my now best friend (who i consider a sibling) in july 2017, over two years ago from this comment. we've been through a ton of crap together, but i probably wouldn't have met them if i hadn't gotten into undertale. which might not have happened if i didn't find this rip. i don't know if anyone ever comes back here to listen to this but me nowadays. the more recent nostalgia critic takeover's homage to this a while back with hopes and dreams and divinity was great, and i would love to see more porter robinson rips in the future, but this one? in my eyes, nothing tops this. i can't pick out any noticeable flaws even if i wanted to. this god damned rip is perfect, and i wanted to thank whoever ripped this, if they happen to read this comment someday, because i don't know where i'd be now if i hadn't stumbled upon this. my life would be a hell of a lot different, for sure. so thank you, ripper, from the bottom of my soul.

I think this entire format of high quality rips is so big that, even if KZbin makes their bot try to shut down every HQ rip channel with no mercy, it will still be able to do immensely well on other platforms. It's not worth hating yourself over. But man, as someone who dedicated summer of 2016 to just enjoying this art, you missed out. Saying goodbye to the channel then marked when life began to change, and in turn much of my nostalgia for childhood. I'm just glad that it's still here, and that those who missed out on this experience can listen and almost feel a beautiful expression that captured the best moments of my youth. Yeah, you missed out. But you experienced this masterpiece. And you are now a part of the collective moment that is saying goodbye to an era, and the intense nostalgia this song evokes.

I always come back to this one. I can say with a straight face that this is... my absolute favorite song ever. It's been the case since I heard it for the first time, about 3 years ago. Part of it is because of how important Undertale is to me, but this rip in particular hits different notes thanks to Porter Robinson. There's just something about it that speaks to my soul, and I don't really know a better way to phrase that. Saw something below about this being the last rip for the channel this guy did... Well, thank you, whoever you are. I've listened to this more times than I count, so if nothing else, you made at least one person's life much better by making music that resonates with them so deeply. Of course, you did much more than that, but... yeah.

I don't know whether it's funny, sad, or something inbetween that I can contribute this single rip to helping me find my love in music. I never really used to listen to music just to listen to music before this rip. I'd listen along to what my dad put on the radio, what music would play while I was playing through a game, what I could hear from across the street and even farther. But then I found this rip. I had started really liking the music I would hear in Undertale, and I found this video in a playlist claiming to be the original OST. I listened and I found it beautiful. Up at 3AM from a cold that hadn't gone away for weeks, I listened over and over again. I knew that what I had found wasn't just a song. It wasn't even just art. I had found why people listen to music. Why people put these beeps and boops on repeat for hours, days, weeks. To not just feel, but feel in ways they could never without it. The Undertale soundtrack is still an absolute masterpiece, and so is Porter Robinson's work. But this rip, is something more than just a masterpiece. Something that can't ever be spoken, because even the best words would do it injustice. From finding and loving this rip, I was able to start finding more and more songs that can make me feel in ways just like it. Not the same feel, but entirely different ones that are just as powerful. Enthrallment. Passion. Absolution. Depression. Any emotion. Any feeling. Any way. Music makes me feel so alive, and so real. And I can say that I owe it all to this rip. I've listened to it repeat 4 times so far whilst typing. It's probably very, very far from the last repeat tonight. Good night.

I know I'm super late but I'm just now seeing this, and.. the ending of this song feels strange to me, not in a bad way, but seeing that meme sprite walk on screen and have all the music slowly deteriorate before what sounds to be a pulled plug is just, strange it's like this old game that has been played for so long that you always loved as a kid and always come back to every year, but now the cartridge is starting to glitch after years of use and doesn't have much longer to go, and this song is like the final time you'll ever be ever to play it before it final gives up and dies, while the end sounds bad, what came before it was so beautiful that you can't even be mad, I mean it was your favorite game after all, even if you'll never get to play it again in this form that was so nostalgic to you if the channel ended with this, like what it seems it was originally going to do from other comments I've read, I don't exactly know how I'd feel about it, on one hand it would've been a great send off, but on the other I would've probably never found the channel, so I can't exactly sit here and say that I want it to be that way, or would even be fine with it, but.. it certainly is one hell of a send off, hopefully a rip as good as this is made when the actual end comes, whenever that is
