My favorite part about the last clip: in the book Anathema was wondering what on earth these two middle-aged men were going to do to her in the middle of the night on weird backcountry roads (not my favorite) until Crowley said "get in angel." She finally relaxed because "oh, they're just a gay couple out for a drive, I had nothing to worry about hah" like the husband energy these two exude is so powerful

Obviously the book doesn't use the word "gay", but it has Anathema thinking "She had nothing to worry about after all" as a reaction to "Get in, angel", and later she thinks of them as the "mutually consenting bicycle enthusiasts" or something, with an emphasis on "mutually consenting" because that phrase was apparently used for describing gay couples back in the day (mutually consenting adults)
