They were made to dance with each other. It is amazing, the perfect dance, music, with the perfect couple.

great, a real pleasure to watch!! in unison,and inventive!Can't believe the 60s,especially the Lady!Both are really something,and the smiling adds to it!Her footwork,[elegantly done]His spin,a buzz,would really like to see both dance to a tune,that I think they would like"Baby you've got what it takes"[1960] by Brook Benton,Dinah Washington.

Well the myth of white people not knowing how to dance and having clumsy feet just flew out the window and died. That was a amazing. Also to steal a line from That 70's Show: "DAMN JACKIE!!!!"
Merci... A Toi l'amour de ma vie... Il n'y a qu'avec toi bébé avec qui j'aurais pu danser cela...

Does anyone know what song this is?
@wittycutie9 жыл бұрын
+Corybee2004 In case no one has answered already, the song is "Be Myself Again", by Eric Benet. After his divorce with Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry. During their marriage apparently, Halle treated him like dirt, because she was making more money than the guy could earn in a lifetime. She spoke to him like a child, in front of the servants, made him feel inadequate as a man, while putting him on display. She's quite something apparently, (hence the nickname "Halle Scary"). It is after this break-up that he wrote the song about his life during his marriage to Halle Berry. That's why in the lyrics, he says things like: "Too complicated for this simple man", or "I found a man who was lost and I set him free", ... "But now I can be myself again". The most revealing part is this section:"I had the best the world could offer for sure' But peace of mind is much more precious than gold I was in place where truth was hard to find But it's all revealed in timeStick out my chest and hold my head up high Forgot how it felt to feel so good inside A fool would gain the world just to lose himself Now I'm gonna be true to no one else"

Corybee2004- This is Carolina Shag. Charlie Womble & Jackie McGee are Hall Of Fame shaggers. Two of the all-time best, and beloved by tens of thousands, especially those of us who learned from them this great style of swing dancing, which started in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Check out the foot work on both of this couple..
@donbaxley55307 жыл бұрын
Yes and that is what makes this dance so awkward to watch! No head and shoulder posture. This style never will become mainstream because of the foot work over powering the head and posture movement!
@elainevankat53537 жыл бұрын
Totally agree! Jackie's foot-work looks so awkward...
