Yeah, there was Good Times, where they never made it out, and The Jeffersons, where they never looked back. Both quality shows, but I was partial to the Jeffersons, as the stories tended to be more positive. Good Times absolutely kept it real. I still remember kids at my elementary school wearing "Dyno-mite!" T-shirts, with JJ on them. I don't think Jeffersons had a T-shirt. Jimmie Walker kinda reminded me of a black Bob Denver(Gilligan on Gilligan's Island) Regardless of details, the 70s were the peak of America.

@@hueyfreeman9297 That was what the shows whole focal point. Norman Lear was trying to show us the show could revolve around a black family being poor and living in the ghetto, and still be funny. I knew that thumbnail was deceptive. Stanis is destined to age well. I met her on the set of the Cosby Show and hung out for 3 days. She is one the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Truly beautiful inside as well as out.

U weren't kidding around when u decided to make an updated video about the entire cast of Good Times? Thank u for this because usually most channels just do like 7 ppl and leave out a few important cast members, and u was a Mr Smarty Pants because u knew that if u kept Thelma(one of the most beloved cast members on the show)til the very end, ppl would stay and watch? Also, it's cool that u didn't do any of the click-baiting BS, lots of channels desperately do for views? In the famous words of the legendary/iconic Mr Denzel Washington "My Man!"

Cheryl Keil, and Kim Fields' mom in real life, Chip Fields, was Penny's abusive mom on the show. Penny was Janet Jackson's character. Those were the good ole days, for sure. I still love me some "Good Times!"
