Kate Voegele did the original version. Then Marianas Trench held a contest for a fan to sing it with them for the single and music video. Jessica Lee was the winner. I love both versions.

After listening to both versions, I have to say I prefer this one to the version with Jessica (which I know is not the popular opinion). While the other one is more intense, it just sounds better slower. Also I love the slow build up at the beginning of this one. But I do love both a lot. Beautiful songs overall.
