I've been watching these characters since season 1 episode 1 of the fosters and I'm so proud and grateful to have been a viewer of Callie's journey. It was a very satisfying ending to see her chase after her dream job and get a new fresh start. She's been kind of stagnant and you can tell she hasn't been happy in a while especially working as a defence lawyer. Definitely time for her to move on and find her joy after so many years of struggle. We will miss her but I'm excited to see how the other characters continue to develop on Good Trouble. I hope s4 isn't the last!

I love Maia and has been a fan of her for at least 10 years. I am so happy for her to follow her heart in order to be surrounded by her loved ones and to get better mentally as she said. I wish her all the love and best. Hope and wish for her to forever be surrounded by a good, loving, true, supportive and caring people.

I will miss her & Jamie......I liked the other people in her office & her boss, but the show has so many great characters. They will survive this change I wish them both the best & hope we will see them again soon

I am VERY sad to see Callie go, but I am also so happy for Maia for choosing herself. I've been tied to these characters almost my whole adult life now, so it feels a bit like an emptiness has opened to be honest with her departure, and this has very much been my go to show for joy and familiarity. I really feel like i was growing with them. Mariana and Callie are so much me and my sister, even down to our career choices, so it feels personal, as I'm Mariana in the situation lol. But i hope this season will prevail regardless and I just hope Maia sticks to her promise of giving us glances of Callie here and there. This story will forever be apart of my growth and journey. Thank you so much for being apart of it Maia and wholeheartedly understanding the assignment

I love both Maia and Callie so much and I miss Callie already. The videochat scene between her and Mariana was so heartwarming, her laugh. I miss it so much. Thanks Maia Mitchell for bringing the Callie we know and love to life. Thanks for every scene you shot and will shoot as Callie. She really is my fav character of two of my favorite shows of all time!

callie went from one of my least favorite characters to probably the one I relate to the most - she exhibited such growth throughout the show and went from a somewhat judgemental immature 20s something trying to make their way in LA to a compassionate, strong, kind, reliable young woman who figured out who she was and what was important to her. I really felt her character became very likable by the end. I'm sad to see her go.

Came back here to hope there is a spin off in the making about Callie and Jamie in DC or at least their return in the show for a few more episodes because c'mon it would be so interesting and exciting to watch them take on their new jobs and give another go at their relationship. They are clearly meant for each other and even though that last scene on the plane was perfect, it is very bittersweet and leaves us on such a cliffhanger. That being said, I'm glad Maia has decided to take some time off and prioritize her mental health, she seems like a really good person!

all of the good trouble characters are boring honestly. good trouble was alive due to callie and mariana characters. At least they let callie be happy with Jamie. I'd honestly watch a spinoff of her and him together somehow in Australia. Her character carried both the fosters and good trouble

Callie left for a new job at the ACLU in DC. Maia chose to move back to Australia so it seems more permanent than temporary but hopefully we’ll see her in cameos and special appearances in the future. Jamie is also moving to DC so they’ll be together finally

@@r.m.demeester9535 yea, there's a good chance viewing will drop without Maia (no shade to Cierra, I think viewers would also drop if she left instead / as well). She'll probably come back for a 1 or 2 episode series finale (like the Moms, Brandon & Jude drop in for 1 or 2 guest appearances per season). It's such a good show and probably a good way to wrap up a good thing before it goes on too long. Also please bring back Balie Madison/Sophia for an episode. I'm never not triggered by how bad a sister Callie is to Sophia when ALL she wanted was a sister. lol. I know it's a casting/writers/too many characters thing but sheesh.
