My husband has a Tens unit and he loves it. He has degenerative disc disease and it relieves his pain. It sends small pulses of electrical current to your nerves and relieves your pain.

When I’m home I’m barefoot all day too. My podiatrist said if you can bend your shoes that they aren’t giving you enough support. I but Sketchers DeLites. I get 2 pair every year. I switch them every 6 months. Advice from an elder…never cheap out on anything that goes between you and the ground! Do not buy cheap tires, shoes, or mattresses. I LOVE my TENS unit. It’s so useful for so many things! I love a beautifully wrapped Christmas gift!

I’m glad to hear that you like your tens unit I just got one and I’m gonna be hauling it very soon and demonstrating and trying it out. I am a sketchers person too. I own three pairs and I’ve worn them out and the last pair is in great condition, but it’s not gonna hurt me to purchase a few more… Definitely agree on tires and mattresses as well. I paid a fortune for my mattress that I’m sleeping on now and it is the best investment I made lol always keep my tires with the best tires I can afford usually Michelin… So now I’ve got to remember my feet are just as important as that lol.😂😂😂 best wishes friend!💖💖💖

I’ve had planters fasciitis for years. From working on cold concrete floors. Some things work for some people and not others. I can’t wear anything with arch support. Physical therapy didn’t help. My favorite shoes are the cloud shoes on Temu, some of the croc like shoes, and only sketcher go walks. You’ll find what works for you.

I had plantar fasciitis a lot until my Dr. Told me to wear different shoes every couple of days and to not let my shoes get worn out. Style didn’t matter just variety.

Plantar fasciitis is the devil! I developed it several years ago and absolutely tried everything, including tens machine, shots in my heel, expensive prescription insoles, cheap insoles, exercises, contraptions, you name it. The only thing that worked was wearing good athletic shoes with arch support and sometimes good drugstore arch supports - - - for over a year! Yes, to work, for dressy occasions. Everywhere. No bare feet. No high heels or cute shoes. The humiliation of wearing those dumb shoes finally paid off and the pain healed. I continued to put arch support insoles in my shoes for a long time afterward, till I eventually kind of forgot about it. Another tip that sounds really random is to find a way to make sure your lymph glands stay drained, not swollen. For some reason that helps, too. Love your videos. Please continue to share.

Arch Support got it… LYMPH glands are swollen as we speak, and I have laryngitis… I wonder if that really does have something to do with it ? I tried to go walk the cakewalk at our fall festival, and my heel 😣 ached so bad I had to stop… you are correct it is the devil!😂💖💖💖

I love wrapping gifts so here's an idea...get 3 varied sized boxes and build each grandkid or kid a snowman with 3white wrapped boxes that when stacked you decorated as a snowman ⛄... just a thought from my past✌️

I bought a book for the jewelry inserts!!! And I bought extra pages because I make jewelry and can easily fill it up. I haven’t filled it yet because I’ve been focusing on the craft shows I’ve been doing to sell my knit/crochet projects, but once they’re done, I’m planning on organizing all of my jewelry! And yes, I played with a Rubix Cube, but I never figured out how to solve the whole thing. I think I was able to get two sides done, lol. I love the Temu jewelry and it’s so inexpensive, how can anyone resist?! I’m licensed to do nails in Pennsylvania and I would always tell people that their nails are jewels, not tools, and not to use them to open things. That’s great that you found a tool to open the soda cans! I’ve been enjoying the press on nails, but you definitely can’t use them for anything or they’ll pop off - and if they’re on strong enough to not pop off, it hurts like crazy!! Hi Wendy, love your themed videos 😊 i was born in the 60s & a teen in the 70s. We wore bell bottoms, miniskirts, wrap dresses, peasant tops, shiny, large collared shirts & tie dye. We had bandana scarves. Since i wasn't graceful, i wore Bastaad clogs & earth shoes. Lots of lip gloss, clear or bronze browns. Blue eyeshadow lol! Most makeup & jewelry from Woolworth! I remember large, colored, flat circle earrings (clip-on) that matched my outfits. I could never complete more than 2 sides of the Rubik's cube. Loved John Travolta & Welcome Back Kotter! I bought the wrapping paper cutter cuz i can't cut a straight line to save my life! 😅 I've always gone barefoot & definitely can't walk in flip-flops!! I love my Skechers. You were talking about the pain in your heel, I'm no doctor, but I have had it before, and if I were you I would go to a foot doctor before I would start spending a bunch of money buying things to see if they work. I told my daughter to go to the doctor and she wouldn't listen and spent a lot of money and had this arch support made for her shoe that didn't work. She finally went to the foot doctor and she had to get shots in her heels, just like I had to do. I'm not going to lie the shots hurt like all get out, but it's been 20 years ago that I had the shots and haven't had trouble since, but thru the years I still do the stretching exercises that told me to do.

I can’t wait for your 80s video 😂 lots and lots of hairspray 😂 Temu is the worst for making things seem bigger than they are. Company must be run by men 🤣 I have a board for my fishhook earrings, but that book would be great for the post earrings! That tool makes the hole for your filling. The ‘cork’ that it created goes back in to hole to seal it after you fill it. I love your videos. Life has been getting crazy with me and I understand completely how this is therapy. john Travolta is the best. He and kelly sent my daughter flowers and we had a guy that worked for him come to the house and brought her pics of them for her. Also he personally called her. I t was so cool. My daughter has seizures she had a bad episode when we went to see him for hog heaven. It was something that he cared so much.

You can also freeze water in a plastic bottle then roll your feet on top of the bottle plus stretching exercises. Also there’s wonderful shoes you can get Vionic they’re the greatest but expensive. They’re well worth the price for your comfort. Good luck I’ve been dealing with Heel Plantar Fasciitis for 26 years.

I have to say that even though I was just a kid, I absolutely loved the 70’s music and I was a huge Bee Agee’s fan and yes, I loved Saturday Night Fever and John Travolta too.😊👍🏻👍🏻 I think you look so awesome in your 70’s version outfit and the sunglasses you wore at the beginning were so nice on you too.👍🏻. I absolutely so love the different themed videos you’re doing. The 80’s video you will be doing will be interesting cause I graduated from high school in 1987. I’m a year older then you.👏🏻👏🏻. Also about your feet and Planters Fascitits, HSN pretty much sells them a lot and also you can get them possibly at a shoe shore too but I don’t know which would be more reasonable where it will be easier on your wallet but, I also know a lady who has it and used to know a lady that had it bad and she had mentioned to mom about the Vionic shoes that help with the sole of the foot and are so very comfortable too. Wendy, It's called Plantar Fasciitis... How I remember to say it...."planter fishy-I-tis". Now this isn't proper but it works for me. I have it and they make a roller ball that you roll on your foot while sitting. It's kinda like a pool ball sitting in a cradle or do like I did for a while fill a pop bottle with water(leave room for it to expand) freeze it and with a sock on roll your foot back and forth for a while a couple times a day. I'm diabetic and have issues with my feet and I love Skechers and memory foam and they have some great slide in walking shoes and you don't even feel the shoes cause they're lighter than most....at least to me....Good Luck on your search ✌️

Both my kids were able to master the Rubik's cube after a short time, they would challenge each other. The older daughter could do it within 10-15 seconds! Very fast! LOL! Your outfit is retro perfect! I don't remember bandana head scarves back then. Maybe it just wasn't popular in our area in the 70's. I think you should start doing Halloween pretty quick!

I have had Plantar Fasciitis for years now, and it does HURT!! I’ve never used a Tens unit for my feet. I did use it for my spinal issue. It helped for awhile, but not anymore. I was getting shoes from my Foot Doctor, but Medicare won’t pay for them anymore. I’ve been trying to find some, that I don’t have to pay an arm and a leg for. Yes, I had a Rubik’s cube, but never solved it. I graduated in 1971, & I don’t remember people wearing the head wraps like that. Mini skirts were popular. Have you ever mixed candy corn and peanuts together? It takes just like a salted nut roll candy bar. I’ve been doing ok. I enjoyed my daughter visiting for a short time yesterday. Now you know with the Plantar Fasciitis and the spine deterioration, why I don’t get out much. You take care!! Luv ya!! ❤️

I have PF also. You have to wear shoes with good arch support all the time. Vionic makes flip flops, slippers and all kinds of shoes and boots. They are a bit pricey but they work! Good luck!

Roll your foot over a large dog ball because you need to stretch that tendon that goes across your heel. I use a large pillar candle 😂. It works. About ten mins or so helps a lot each morning and night.

Hi Wendy you looked so cute in the picture you showed us. Those wrapping paper cutters are not very good. I donated mine. Get electric scissors, they’re great. Temu is tricky. Even when you read the size description it’s a shock when you see the size. Another FUN haul! Sorry to hear about your foot pain. My friend had plantar fasciitis and she ended up getting a cortisone shot. It helped her. It’s not fun getting old but the alternative is worse. See you next time. I had the same heel issue years ago my doctor at the time gave me these things to put in my shoes for my heels and what a difference it made in my walking and knock on wood Ino longer ha e the issue but yes it does hurt and I had both hurting

I had the very same thing happen years ago and was told that wearing flip flops and going barefoot is what causes it. I hate shoes and wear them (other than flip flops) rarely. I went to PT twice a week for several months where they had me do stretch exercises. One that really helped was a wooden ramp were I would put my foot on for 5 seconds step off and do it it over and over for like 10 minutes. Then I would lay on a table and the PT had a heat probe that he rubbed on my heel for about 20-30 minutes. They sent me home with a boot that came up to my knee to keep my foot straight and I had to wear it at night too. After 3 months it was gone and it has never come back. I still wear flip flops when I go out and always barefoot inside. Hope this helps. ❤

70s? There were so many different things, disco was only 1 part... I didn't do disco. I did dance to "wipe out" & shimmy shaked my way to free pizzas at the local pizza/barn (served alcohol. I didn't use) which had lived music every other week. We did a lot of pow, mia + leather bracelets

I have pf and have never heard of using a Tena unit for it. I have used tens on the lumbar portion of my spine. It can be quite effective for that. For the pf the best thing I have found is a shot of cortisone in my heel. IT IS VERY PAINFUL but it works. You see a podiatrist for this. I agree with the.vionix shoes but they are pricey. I hope you find what works for you.

Skechers are wonderful for their support. For me, they are the most comfortable to wear. I wish I knew about Skechers when I was working. Try stretching your foot for the planters fascia fasciitis. Pull your feet up towards your head and hold the stretch for a few seconds. Do that a bunch of times during the day. The stretches helped me with mine a lot. Now I’m not bothered by it at all.😊

I've used the cheaper version and the most expensive from Amazon and it really depends what your specific problem is, my problems are in my knees and they did not help me at all, I would buy one from Amazon first so you can return it quickly if it doesn't work for you

Plantar Fasciitis is horrendous. The only thing that helped me was 6 laser treatments from my podiatrist & custom made orthotics I put in my shoes. I also only wear Hoka (he said they're the best for all the walking I do), Ryka, & Vionics. They're all expensive but well worth it. The natural padding on my feet is virtually gone so I can't walk barefoot either. 😢 Go see a podiatrist! ❤ p s. I first had an extremely painful cortisone shot from my podiatrist but it did nothing. Might work for you.

It's like a plantar's wart on the bottom of your heel I'd have surgery on mine and it took about 5 weeks to heal but you could still get around so you have to have surgery on it I'd go to a the foot doctor.

I tried the link to the folding glasses and it didn't work. So I just typed in "folding glasses" and found some other ones but I like the ones you have. I also like the rose colored glasses at the beginning. Those are 70s style but back then they were smaller and sometimes square shaped. So fun.😊

Kitty I love your outfit and the hoops. I was a teenager in the 70s I wore the bell bottoms... tie-dyed and big earrings. It was so fun. Have you tried good shoe inserts. A good shoe store might have some insight to help you

My Temu Tuesday. I saw a beautiful 2024 date book. I looked & it had nice big squares for a month & size was 11x8.. was not! It's smaller week 7 sections & no dates... How is it a 2024?? Not what was showed on site & now says out of stock. Of course. My Xmas wrap... To kids from Santa was a Santa print & kids name printed on them. From me they had tags & bows.

sounds like you have Plantar fascitis, Ive had it and I used one of those foot things but mine was called a sock, no hard things in it. I got mine in a sports store and they work. You need a good shoe with a arch support and wear shoes in the house I wear Birckenstocks and my feet are good now

All I can say about plantar fasciitis is stay away from soft sole shoes, 👟 I had some cheap like hey dudes and they about killed me, I went to tie up shoes with a solid structural to the soles and it took me more than six months to get over it. 😢 Made me want to cry every time I sat down and went to get up they say mainly morning I spent couple hundred dollars in insoles. And none seemed to help. Good luck stop the flimsy shoes some doctors say wear shoes 1" inch thick. My feet hurt 🤕 for you!!

On your foot, I thought I had the (the word you're trying to say I can't spell it either) when to the Dr's and I had a a stress fracture so you might want to have that check out.

That was an awesome haul, thanks! I have that can opener, one at my desk one in my camp box and one in the kitchen...it works great. I would like to see the wrapping paper cutter in action, got a couple of those too, just haven't tried them yet. Now for then Tens machine. I have one that I got on Amazon for around $25. I use it on my back. So I have no idea if it will help your foot. Does it work? IDK it is absolutely not a cure. But, after a long hot shower, I put it on for about a half hour and it does feel pretty good while I have it on and after for a bit. Not sure how that would translate to your foot issue. Several years ago I had something like you are talking about. It finally just stop hurting.
