It’s funny I always considered myself a Ok bass player because I consume my mind with all the fancy stuff that I can’t do but by these standards I’m a great player 😅lol amazing video thank you

Listening to this and I immediately thought of John Paul Jones...and then of John Deacon

Do you talk about licks in your course

Not directly in Basscabulary, but a lot of the foundation is laid in teaching different scales from which you can derive patterns. I plan to do more corse work in the future with some licks that are specifically laid out for everyone.

Look at Funky Butter's short on his channel talking about how the most legendary bassists play 4 string kzbin.infoo7CSw7nOM7Y?si=xtEjpICRqLyqghxB

Sorry to hear that. Those 4 strings are still there...right under the 5th one. :). I'll throw some 4 string vids in the future as well.

This is true. I think there is a space where we can respect why certain musicians choose their axes. 4 is the OG, 5 added more range for low end, 6 added ease to play chords and leads in a higher register etc. I respect each person's individual preference. Thanks for sharing.

@@MusiciansNetworkTV yes ,but MOST bassists use 4 string,so if ur gonna put a "tutorial " out to the masses ,why not just do the 4 str. honestly it turns some players off,,,so why do it,? (Just a little professional advice and public feedback)😏
