I missed my court date back in 2018 for asylum. I can’t afford an attorney so I’ve made the decision to turn myself in to an ICE detention center and plan on self representing myself. I’ve been in an immigration facility 10 years ago back in 2014 when I initially applied for asylum and was released on bond but missed my court date and I’ve been stuck for 6 years now.

Cancellation of removal due to missing court in Cleveland ohio because I moved to NYC but this what I did I filled an address change with INS in Cleveland then as soon as I got to nyc I went to notice INS in New York City CHAMBERS STREET HEADQUARTER of the address change I just filled in Cleveland before moving to New York City.

100% me. Married to a U.S. citizen, with a house, a car, and with DACA. I know nothing for now will come from DACA but this Removal procedure is holding me back! I have a question, my friend was denied assylum,his lawyer didn't file the appeal on time and so for that untimely filing the BIA rejected the appeal. He has a removal order and now his US citizen son wants to file I130 for him. Can he file motion to reopen and terminate his removal? He has no criminal record or any moral turpitudes. Thanks.

You get here might as well you just go ahead and start on your social security, insurance or if any 401k. plain and simple that's where everybody is heading to regardless, you can work all you want that's where you going to end up. the only purchase you should pursuit is a home that's value and equity, what I'm saying is you can live the American dream anywhere in the world trouble is just a few the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Africa is thriving, and technology and access is at its best. People come here for the American dream they don't do anything, they don't even get to the point of doing anything, GATE KEEPERS, POLITICS AND ALL SORT OF I-S-M-S generation to generation then every 10 years they find a group to blame. you should see the tremendous effort they put up to stop people here. you get here you better find you community and go there or you're going to face a lot of fight. the American dream? i think if you come here for the (American reality) you make it better off because you are not going to make it dreaming for sure.

I am the wife and petioner and our lawyer got us homeland security paperwork so they know my husband is in this country! This was done 20yrs ago he came to United States in 98 and has a social security card, it was given to him when he applied in new Jersey where he lived and worked at that time, he has been paying taxes ever since but our lawyer told us 13 ys ago that he has a chance of being kicked out of country because he has a cmens visa which means it looks like he Jumped ship?
