Yes, smartglasses with displays I believe will become huge. Especially when the big tech companies start to release smartglasses / AR / XR glasses. Google has some AR project together with Samsung, and companies like Xiaomi and Sony are maybe developing smartglasses (just my guess).

Not at all. The ultrawide Mac screen mirroring option is amazing. Apple Vision Pro isn't a mainstream consumer product, the price reflects that. Subsequent iterations will appeal to a broader market but for now AVP is the top of the line of the nascent AR/VR market.

I decided to switch to Volvo for my next electric vehicle, choosing the EX40 instead of the Tesla-like EX30. I hope the Switch 2 goes back to the form factor of the DS Lite. We need a portable game console in the pocket. Especially with todays tech. 4nm processors, fast ram and memory 1tb the size of a fingernail. 144hz OLED screens with pwm tech blue light. Loud bass internal speakers.

The iPhone Air means that the iPhone Fold will be launching soon. All game consuls became boring, with nice graphics but a lousy gaming experience. The E-Ink tables jumped very nicely in 2024 and will be improved much more.

I see no more point to thin phones than I did to thin laptops. I thought the obsession with style over quality and engineering went out when Steve Jobs croaked. What I'd like is a phone I can comfortably carry in a hip pocket; it doesn't have to be iPhone 13 mini small, just shorter than an iPhone 16 or Galaxy S24. The Moto X (2014), Essential PH-1, and Galaxy S10e were all close to the sweet spot for me.
