Our old fake tree was the same setup as yours. With the individual branches. My new one is so much easier. In 3 parts with the lights attached.

I don’t bother with a tree now I live alone, but as kids our tree would always go up on the 3rd Sunday in December and come down on Epiphany. My dad always swore it bought good luck for the year ahead

Top Tip put a pop sock over the vacuum head .. the fine come off .. otherwise may clog your vacuum up .. x x

Yesterday hubby and I took down all the bigger decor items from the yard and got them put away in the shed. We left the lights though, for another week or so. I like to wait for the first snowfall to be able to enjoy the prettiness of the lights against the snow. Wouldn't you be better off getting rid of the shedding xmas tree before it ends up naked, and take advantage of 1/2 price after Christmas sales? I like the red hair..

We've had an awful Christmas and New year. Hubby took ill Christmas morning. Suspected bleed on the brain and meningitis. He had lumbar puncture and all sorts of scans. He came home Sat 6th, we feeling ill this afternoon and I've got covid, so not a good time x

Yeah - new lens. I’ve had to change it to manual focus and now it’s stopped doing it.
