It sucks that it’s come down to this but unfortunately life puts you in situations that nobody wants to be in sometimes. But now that you can finally hear about the issues we’ve been having, hopefully it’s easier to process and understand why these things are happening. Regardless, thank you Doug for helping make so many amazing things happen and we wish you the best. Man, everyone on this channel appreciates your realness, your honesty and your accessibility. Allowing a peek behind the curtain to see the real reasons why things happen in this space is not something most creators of your size would do. The unfortunate and universal reality is that things don't always play out the way we plan or expect. You're showing us now that that's even the case for people we respect and regard as successful, and it's a valuable thing for everyone who aspires to a level like this to see and understand. Even though my KZbin car dreams got put on pause for a family and career change and the move halfway across the country, seeing a guy from my local area and scene really come up in the space has been inspiring. On top of that you were willing to talk to me about my channel and some of the things I was doing, even though my content was hardly a fraction as entertaining and as well produced. I have nothing but respect for you, and the way you interact with your community, and can only hope to model my own approach after it if and when I get the opportunity to make content again. Best wishes for all involved. The talent around this channel has always been incredible.

Watching your videos has helped me push towards working on my car more and learning more and listening to Doug and you talk about what certain things do has helped me so much with what I've been wanting I wish for only the absolute best for Doug and the whole team.

Keep your head up Gavin. Things get rough and don’t always go as planned but “don’t lose sight” my guy! I’ll be praying for you.

I have been a long long time lurker. i have seen you before you had 50k subs. i have watched you grow, change, matured, and many more things. Things happen for a reason and there is always a purpose. Everything will work out for the both of you. Even though your best friend is moving on the memories will always be there to remind you of what a great time you all had.
