I'm so sorry for your loss, Jessie. Really, this year is cursed. I see so many souls dying all around me. I lost my cat at the starting of 2020, another KZbinr's dog died really not long ago, my best friend's grandmother might too and now your family dog... I am glad this year is finally going to end and that we might possibly get a better one. Life goes on and we go through so many things. But we have to become stronger and survive these hard times. During mandi’s letter I was like “I can’t cry” but once Jessii started reading her goodbye letter I just bawled, I also got my doggo during high school, one of the toughest years so far, also my grade 12 year which is a lot stressful, he was there when I was crying and wiped my tears by licking it or be right there beside me looking at me crying himself, he was there when I was laughing so hard that I fell on the floor, he would get up on my chest and just look at me, I got him when he was just one years old, even tho it’s only been 5 months, every little things he do is special, even tho he was scared at first that he would bite me, bark at me, and even show teeth at me, those doesn’t matter to when I come home he would whine shakes his tail so big that I feel like it’ll fall off, even tho he’s a very tiny boy, this boy is my life, at times I feel like I can’t live without him, my parents got him after I went through horrible phases, like crying every night or harming myself with anything I saw to now where all I think about is him, I don’t even cry at night.... just him breathing right next to me, snoring right beside my chest just tells me that this boy is my little boy, he’s soon to be 2! The first birthday I’ll spend with him, I can’t imagine hearing a vet saying that my dog needs to be put down, I can’t even imagine that... I’m sorry for your loss, losing a dog is hard especially when u spend days, months, years with them, for anyone going through losses either a pet or a human just know I’m always free to talk, come and just tell me all ur emotions! Don’t suffer alone!

Dozer is not even my dog but I’m crying so much I promise you it will get better I lost my dog and was in a depressed state for a while and I finally realized that my dog and your dog is in a better place and we all know that god will take care of that dog and I’m sorry for your loss and I hope good luck comes your way and you may not see your dog with you but always know that dozer will be sitting on your lap or laying next to you when your sleeping or snuggling with you while you cry and I hope he knows he was a very great boy to all of us :)

That must be really sad. I have a poodle her name is Marley she is 15 years old, and she is confirmed the healthiest 15 year old poodle poodles only live til 12-14 years so she is really old. She tends to fall a lot sense her legs are weak. She always has upset stomachs not because she’s old it’s because she’s a skinny poodle and her stomach tends to hurt. I feel so bad for her. I love her so much and I hope she can continue to pull through life.

Me and my sister had a dog, her name was Lady and she was a Cocker spaniel and she died at an early age, she was so sweet and amazingly brave. To go on without giving out too much, the way she died was heartbreaking and we were all there when she died. After she died we were all really depressed, so, I decided to grieve by learning how to garden and writing songs to comfort me and my family. It was very healthy for me to do these things and I've healed more, I will keep you and your family in my prayers. 🌷🥺

I’m so sorry Jessie for your loss I know what it’s like to have a pet die, two of my chickens died including one of my favorite chickens and I sobbed when that happened but eventually you get through these losses and life just goes on and we just have to accept the fact that someone is gone and there is no way of bringing them back to life. Dozer was a great dog and he probably is so grateful for all the things you have done for him,he had a very long life and he was so cute. I lost a dog a while back, his name was buddy. I used to video him all yhe time. He was fine with it, and I just kept being silly with him. Until one day and he was really tired, my mom told me he was gonna die. I cried and held on to him. He was a begal and he always tried to protect us. We had to stapel his leg alot of time. That morning, I sat by him as the light faded from his eyes. I huged him and I cried. He is now in our pet cemetery. May God and Jesus love you my Buddy. My life has never been the same.

I lost my dog this year, too. Back in April. He was 15, also my family dog, also around as long as I can remember. He was always there for me to cry into, to hug and squeeze, to talk to, even if he might not have understood. I believe he did. He knew it was time. He said goodbye to my cats, who also returned the favor. We took him to the vet's, and I had to step out of the room as he went to sleep and slipped away. At 1:41 I started crying. I can’t handle stuff about dog or any animal dying. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve been there and it took me so long to recover from my dogs dying. (It took me a week) I didn’t go outside to play with my friends a lot and I sat in my bed at night crying grieving the loss of my dog. But just be lucky he was in your life, and happy that he was on earth and born. He’s always gonna be watching over you and he is probably very happy he got you guys as a family.

I feel your pain here, Jessie, as in 2016, Valentines day, my dog Duke had to be put down. He had many underlying health issues and was extremely old. We miss him dearly and have many things to remember him by, though! The song 'Happier' by Marshmellow and Bastille was popular, but also had a dying dog in the video, so we use it as a way of telling us what is good will always end someday, but will be okay in the end. I get this my cusouin is a dog and he died cuz of heart problems his heart was so big it didn't fit in his body and his lugs were pushed by his heart if you think the thing about your growing three times bigger is false can't happen your wrong it happened to someone someone I really cared about

I’m so sorry jessii :( 2020 has been a terrible year and bad things have been happening all year. There are an unbelievable amount of deaths and it makes me so sad to even think about. I am just so glad that this year is coming to an end and maybe 2021 will be better for us all. Dozer is in a better place now and he will always be in our hearts. I’ve lost two dogs in my lifetime, they had been there my whole life My second dog was in the same situation as dozer, he could barely even move, he was losing his hearing and sight, he couldn’t even eat or use the bathroom without having to be helped. He took some medicine for a while, and there was the chance to keep him alive, but we knew it was time. It was difficult for me, but I know that he’s happier now, it’s been a few years and I’ve had a new dog for almost 3 years now. I love her. Never loose hope, and your dog will always be in your heart ❤️ I’m sorry for your loss. Keep being amazing girl! We’ll get through it together ❤️

I'm so sorry for your loss, Jess. But don't worry, he's gonna be happy when he crosses the rainbow bridge where he will have dog treats, friends, and toys all over the place. He'll be watching over you from it and will comfort you even though you can't see him. He's there, he's always gonna be there for you. I may be more of a cat person but I can understand that feeling of loss and hopelessness. Animals are humanity's best friend and they will always be by your side even through death. Nothing can put into words how sorry I feel for you, I know the pain of losing someone or something in my life. For me it wasn't death, and yours is definitely worse than mine, You can take a break from KZbin to mourn, it's okay with us.

My maternal grandmother's dog passed away sometime before October 26, 2020, my 13th birthday. Her name was Daffy, and she was 13 years old. I wasn't there to witness her death, because I only see my grandmother during summer vacation, and she lives in Connecticut. She was always excited to see us whenever we visit. I was excited to see her too. May she rest in peace, and may your dog rest in peace.

When I read the title I was like "I already know what boutta go down-" Don't worry Jessi I had to do the same. My pet cat called Ziggy only had one working kidney, and he licked antifrost from the stable behind my house and he got really ill, so the next day we took him to the vet and his kidney was slowly giving up, so if you don't get it basically he got poisoned and his kidney stopped working. So I went in the room he was all wired up, I said my last goodbye and kissed him on the head flooding in tears I stroked his head onee more time and his tail started moving and his heart rate went up, the doctor said he knew it was me and that he doesn't want to let go. They put the needle in and he slowly fell asleep (died) And I haven't been the same since. I'm 13 now and I still can't keep stable when someone mentions him. So.. Dear Jessi If you are reading this comment I just want to let you know, Dozer is still here and misses you all very much, I'm sure he was very upset too.. My dogs died two years ago at my grandparent's house and so did our neighbor's dog which we raised as our own. I was at my house the so when I went to my Grandparent's house. I was wondering where our dogs were, then my Grandpa told me that they had passed away. I got really sad and cried and went for a walk to all the places that me and my dogs went. I went to my neighbo'rs house and talked to my neighbor. Then, I went back to my Grandparent's house, went to my room, and cried some more. I didn't see my Grandparent's cry but my dogs died a month ago so they probably cried that month. I know this won't make you feel better but I just wanted to tell you about the dogs I've known for my whole life.

I will miss him :( this reminds when I had to put down my German Shepherd from cancer he was puking up blood when I was 7 coming home crying in tears when my parents said we had to put him down now I'm 14 I've got over it a long time that dog always was with me since I was 4 he was the same age as me too
