I admit, I do sometimes wonder about a Jersey here. It'll be interesting seeing how they work out for you.

Enjoyed the video--Glad to see you all back full of the joys of spring. I have missed them immensely. And Hey-History repeating itself with the cows---you'll have a wonderful stone cold dairy in the house for all the mouth watering milk and cream and butter to come. New tatties 'n' butter -everybody's favourite.

What a great childhood for Lilli. She's a very lucky girl. I've also just planted out my peas in a 'forest' of hazel brash. Looks a lot more interesting than bamboo. Keep at it!

Delightful as always. We have loved milking our Dexters in Australia; Jersey's too; on our 30 acres. Always such a great time listening to your calm and joyfilled vlogs. Thank you, James, Rosa, and Lily xxx love the pea sticks

Great to see you and the vegetables again, but really sad to see the goats gone, use to love seeing them as I was brought up with goats and they are such characters. Loved seeing the relationship between Rosa and the goats, but glad they have a good home. Lily has such a wonderful upbringing with your way of life, pure magic. Thanks

Love your videos. This takes me back to my childhood in the NW Highlands croft with our milking cow Mum made butter and crowdie and we children took pails of milk to old aunties. More videos please ❤

Congratulations on getting cows, I am sure you will love them! We love the opportunity to make all our dairy and fresh milk/cream. More importantly, you will have so much compost! One thing I should mention, health and safety, as a fellow jersey owner, be careful with your position when you milk, do not have your face in hoof range , if she kicks( rope snaps, a fly goes by,needs a pee 😅) she will break your jaw. Enjoy the journey!

I was amazed when she said Romanesco! It's quite a long word, and she pronounced it so well. She looked to be having such a fun time playing with her mother's hair too :)

Butter and cheese and rich milk…..maybe just the wrong goats….Nigerian dwarfs are supposed to be best for that, and you could cross Nigerian dwarfs with Nubian which would also get you the same but more volume…..just saying 😊
