Darn Rafael, this initially came as a shock to me. As someone who is currently pursuing my Italian citizenship through Jure Sanguinis via ICA, you were my initial and one of my biggest inspirations in going after this dream. However, so good to hear that you will still be providing content in that regard, albeit from a remote and different location. I’m here for the long haul! Having said that, it’s quite honorable and commendable on your part to put family above self at this time, and to do what is necessary to be your best for your family. You’re a good man! I want to wish you all the best in this new chapter or your life, the best to your family as well. You deserve it! Also, glad to hear your merch will be available as you mentioned what great stocking stuffers they make! Alright Sir, take care until next time.

Rafi, first and foremost, you and your channel have provided us with so much valuable information and perspective on life as an expat in Italy. We discovered your channel right at the start of Covid and subscribed right on day one. Thank you for everything you have shared with us. You have educated us, entertained us and given us joy each Friday night and we will continue to look forward to what you will be sharing with us. As caretakers for several family members over a span of almost 20 years, we know what it takes and we absolutely commend you on your decision to put your family first. You are and will be a blessing for them. Buona fortuna, be well and a presto.

Rafael - you should be so proud of your journey. I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to connect with you - almost one year ago - and that you featured me in your montage ❤️ Everything you said, I can completely relate to. Living in Italy especially with a language barrier, during the pandemic, was challenging. I arrived three years ago and yes, I agree Italy has changed since before the pandemic (as has the world). I’m sad you have left Italy but absolutely you have to do what is right for you and your family. Your channel is a great resource for those thinking of moving here and those who currently live here and your channel will continue to be just that! Stay in touch - a presto ❤️

@@Laurelin70 Agree. But this is true only for people who have immigrated to the country. The situation is absolutely different when you were invited to Italy to do business/science/project.
