The next time you play phasmophobia keep on note that there’a a lot of tips for this game For mare and jinn: the mare hates lights and jinn hates no lights so that can determine what you could be dealing with For phantom take a picture of the ghost and if it disappears right after the picture is taken of the ghost type will be phantom For the yurei being in the dark for 1 minute will drop your sanity by 14% as the normal drop is 7% per minute For demon asking a successful question on the ouiji board will not drop your sanity (as it does normally) and if the ghost hunts when your sanity is below 70% but above 50% it will be a demon For banshee it will only focus on one player if the hunt happens with more then 2 people For wraith put salt and a glow stick nearby and if it stands on the salt and walks and doesn’t leave get any foot prints it could be wraith or phantom but phantom doesn’t like salt For shade and oni If you do a solo run oni and shades roles will swap shades are usually shy unless you alone aka solo and oni will be less active when solo There’s more but I don’t have time to list it all. oh and if you listen closely and i mean CLOSELY you may be able to hear the voice of dead members of your team although I've only heard it once it can happen but its rare I think they may add a device in phasmophobia that allows limited communication of dead team members to living team members you must be absolutely silent to hear them though. I've only ever heard this happen on a two person crew in the asylum but I have to assume it may happen to 3 and 4 person crews unfortunately I do not know if this is true.

Bere even non-violent ghosts can kill although they usually wont do it however if you continue to scream its name over and over it will start to hunt although it wont last that long you still need to be cautious saying its name if Brianna wants to go in screaming the name over and over just leave her or whoevers doing that because they most likely will die and you need to be quiet otherwise the ghost will hear you although sometimes if you are lucky you can go into certain rooms and they wont follow you the room they start out hunting in is the worst to hide in because the ghost spawns right near you and if you are loud enough and the ghost is near enough you can attract the ghost to come to you and you'll be safe because the ghost cant kill you outside the house however I do not think this is foolproof nor do I think it will work most of the time.
