omg......I had this played, for my late husband's funeral.....every time I hear it.....I sob....and it's been over 5 years....but this song still reminds me of how wonderful my late husband was. I still miss him.

Such a well written song. Can be used to describe so many things. The end of a relationship between two people. A child leaving home for the first time. And of course ultimately losing a loved one due to them passing on. I had never really listened to the words before, but I heard it on the radio last night and it really got to me. Now it's one of my favorites, and Lionel has done a string of other all time great songs that I have loved for years. This one is right up there.
