Thanks brother for that beautiful tribute; made me cry. The love you guys shared for each other is obvious in your face and words. The best way to honor Mark is to continue to raise your children as you already have; teaching God's love, honesty, and life skills like welding and the appreciation of the great outdoors. You're a wonderful friend to our family, and I thank you for loving my son! Love you, brother! God bless you!

Why is it that the people I see on KZbin with this horrible disease seem to be some of the sweetest honest good people on Earth. It's just excruciating watching good people suffer but have a smile all along. The disease is just so horrific it's unbelievable. You want so bad to help but we are helpless and to think just how alone that must feel. The mental strength is incredible. Puts life in perspective. Makes me really miffed at the rest of KZbin people whining about trivial things like it's the end of the world. Like a simple word. People wanting sympathy over stupid stuff while others have this to deal with and don't want sympathy. Anyways, I am not a religious man but God bless Mark. You're a legend.

Omg - you are talking and I am.watching what looks to be a cow walking by window..then you mention the cow..lol Then the whole welder thing-love it. A lot of people do not realize that even if the cosmetics are not what they use to be, and it may have a kink or two, and it it is not going to hurt you, if something still works use it until it stops working! The welding lessons with your children are wonderful! Teaching all kinds of skills that they can take to or at least be able to do for survival is priceless! We had a family acquaintance that has crazy wealth, he knows how to plant, cook, he replaces his own buttons, and darns a sock or a rip in a dress shirt! Can hunt, fish. Can use tools etc etc. If all went away, he can still live a regular life. It is good! You have a new sub! God Bless!

I said this on the tribute video of marks song on the guitar, but I feel its worth repeating here. Im 53 years old and i started watching mark about a year or so ago. Im not much of a social media guy but connected with marks videos, he enjoyed guitar , music, welding , guns and anything mechanical. We had a lot in common so I watched him, watching him struggle with cancer he always kept his head up and never complained and positivity was an understatement. This young man influenced me to be a better Father, Husband and Friend. Mark gave the world the best he had to give and he got kicked in the teeth but he gave the world the best he had to give anyway. RIP stranger and thank you for making this old dog realize how truly blessed I am.... Now all that said don’t give up on this you tube thing. I will be looking forward to more of your videos. There are a lot of us who only knew Mark through his Homemade Everything channel, but his passing felt personal. I use to check his channel every day and towards the end, there were a few gaps in his videos for a couple days or more at a time. When that would happen we would all gather in the comment section of his last video and express our hopes that Mark was doing alright. Well, the last comment he left that I remember was during one of those gaps and he said "I'm fineeee!", I laughed because I could imagine Mark saying that. But it wasn't much longer before his wife made her video and we all got the news we prayed would never come. We all miss you, Mark! Thanks for all the great videos, and thank you for this beautiful tribute TexasBeardAdventures.

Nice tribute. Such a sad time. I was subbed to him before the cancer and find it such a shame that his channel only blew up towards the end. First saw you on the cancer kart video and been subbed ever since. He will be missed but thanks to you tube will inspire people for a long time to come. I cracked when Conner said thanks mark, rest in peace. Stay safe my friend.

Yes, I can see that Mark attracted the same quality people to him, and his own spirit is reflected in those friends. I find it somewhat comforting, as though a piece of him is still here.

@@TexasBeardAdventures I thought I saw a green fridge, which I love btw! Jaci humbled me by how strong she is when she posted to Mark's "homies"; those of us who have fallen in love w/the entire Carriker family just by watching & interacting w/Mark. She's also updated us!!! I'm making a list of all channels that knew Mark so any of his Homies can join and always keep Mark's legacy alive!!💞✌
