Short story indeed, full of twist and turns! Like life itself !! I first Read this booklet in my teens, and like chips ageing in this Story, having read this book now and again during my life!, i seem to age with him! Almost ready for retirement nowadays!, and also having worked in the same firm for over forty years , i must admit I think about the similarities quite often, starting as a rather naive young fellow! , and now being the oldest employee in the place. I often get the same strange look and question by young people," have you been working here for a long time ,sir??? " Usually i answer with a question, " tell me?, when were you born young man?" , and then I usually answer something along the lines of ," oooh, long time before you were born son , i am afraid!!" 😂 , i even introduced and trained a young fellow once , and getting aqunted on his first day, was surprised to find out, i knew and rememderd his grandfather working here, back in " the previous century" ,, indeed a great joke, this growing older, but also a sad one!👍
