Goodbye Nellie - the last journey for RT2976

A sad farewell to former London Transport AEC Regent III RT2976 (NLE 744).
(** apologies for the slight finger intrusion later in the video - I had to shoot this 'blind' with my left hand whilst taking still photos with my DSLR in my right hand **)
Bought with every good intention by the late Jim Mckinnon, MD of Marden Commercials, rebuilding of the bodywork commenced, with the bus under cover.
Pressure of work led to the bus being moved into open rough ground on the site and sadly, a decade of neglect, standing in the open, led to water ingress that rotted the woodwork of the frame.
Towed away by new owners the PF Collection (former Ensignbus Vintage Fleet), it was deemed beyond saving as it now is - which would require a full rebuild from scratch costing upwards of £75k to achieve.
So, sadly, this departure of RT2976 wasn’t to the new life that had been hoped for it, but became its final move before dismantling for parts to keep others going.
