Tammy I love what you do and I watch you always. I want to congratulate you on reaching 80 thousand subscribers. I have so much wanted you to reach this along with you. I will be there when you reach 100. You have taught me so much much over the years I was a fine artist for years but I now have arthritis so bad I am trying to do acrylic pouring. It has been hard because I have been a truly detailed artist. You have helped me so much. I love how you teach and explain how you accomplished your your way and how you do it. I will be turning 80 yes this year and with help I will continue to watch you and expire from your knowledge. Going from being a detailed artist and doing a pour has been one of the most challenge thing I have ever done and you have made me to accomplish this goal to a beautiful painting. Thank you so much for being who you are a wonderful person and teacher and artist. Thank you for sharing.

Omg Tammy this is the answer to all my problems! At first they were too thick and cracked then the weather got a lot warmer and everything was too thin. So then I opened a new can of Color Place and it’s so thin I can’t even use it so then I saw this video so I gave it a shot and WOW no cracking at all no weird sinking of my CA and it is drying amazing. I can’t tell you how much this has changed for me and now I can continue to make blooms with no pillow and no cracking! Thank you so much your an angel 👼🏻

Tammy. You out did yourself. I am so excited over what you did today. I have tried almost everyone with their pillow house paints and everyone has a different kind. You have taught me so much over the years but this way with only using your regular paint as a pillow is a blessing. I will try it and I just want you to know you are so good at explaining things and trying to make it easier and better I give you a thumbs up on trying this and it works. Thank you for sharing and thank you for caring enough to try something different that works. I am so happy with what you did. Please keep us up on what you are doing.

I got so confused with all of the differing advice and recipes. But you break it down and not only tell what it is but you tell why it is. Which is how I learn. Good to know, very special that it can be done without pillow paint !! I have a question; can I, for example, use Amsterdam paint as a pillow with assie floetrol ... and then the primery elements on it? Thank you Tammy for this great video!
@tammyandersonart3 жыл бұрын
@@tanjasart sadly if you want to use primary elements or any dry form of a color you cannot use floetrol because it has no binder in it and the colors will fall apart. You can however use floetrol only if your using just regular acrylic paint like Amsterdam

I think I did try the glue an water CA recipe, with no success. Now I have Aussie Floe, but am struggling with the other ingredients. I think my pillow paint has been sucking up my pigments, so thank you for advising us to use something else on the bottom. And I love the idea of skipping the pillow! That could be a game changer, although it might be tough on a fresh canvas . . . Anyway, thanks for all you share.
