Aha, a Frenchman looking person goes riding in Blackpool. Totally agree with your rod brake comments. Never again for me. Sure the cows weren’t Holsteins?! Me? No idea. But I know they even cross Friesians with Holstein to further complicated things.

I am going back to Borneo before the end of the year and I am probably gonna take my Raleigh Traveller with me. That'll add to my Raleigh collection back home. I will miss cycling in Scotland though. Here in Scotland I can cycle any time of the day. Back in Borneo I never cycle between the hours of 11am-4.30pm, just too hot! But I shall continue to watch your videos.

At certain times of day in the SE most of the roads become rat runs, thanks in no small part to sat navs (there's always a downside to technology) Green down the middle, they are my kind of lanes/roads. The bike cuts along nicely in 4th with the tail wind 😉

I really love this channel, how it is very classical bike and build oriented and lots of riding and touring narration, but I am looking for recommendations for a channel that has a little stealth camping action or geocaching, i know of camping with steve and all that, looking for more bicycle adventures, with poor people stuff, i want nothing of the latest expensive gear. hobo shit

With 28” wheels it’s more likely a DL-1

Someone else from over there said the same thing. In England we have always has Fresians. By “always” I mean a couple of hundred years, so last week really.

I do wonder why the old sports model light roadsters have died out in lots of situations as they are brilliant general purpose bikes as they are nimble in traffic and can carry as much as a big roadster

Clever marketing to simple minded people!!! That's why the sports roadster died a death only to be replaced by boat anchors on wheels called MTBs which the ill informed nitwits choose to ride.
