I loved this playthrough so much, Amber. I love hearing your thoughts about the art, the reactions to the weirder stuff, and your takes on all the characters. I found it really rewarding. And this is from someone who's done 3 playthroughs and watched two others. Still wasn't bored because you're so emotionally honest with things. I never got to play Intergrade, but my Rebirth playthrough was approximately 127 hours. It's a hard one for KZbin, but might make a good consistent series when paired with other stuff. It's ultimately up to you, of course. Do what's best for you and your channel. But, as someone who always looks forward to your uploads, I would personally love to see it. But also I feel that way about everything. I had negative interest in Deltarune, but have been enjoying that, too. Hey. Congratulations on beating this! It was the first time I’ve ever seen a FF game and I love everything about it - the story, the music, all characters and their design, everything is just amazing. This has been a super fun playthrough, its gotten me to finally finish it myself as well. I have a problem with picking up games for a week or so at a time then swapping to a different one. This is one I was playing in the main push of the pandemic then stuff came up and I'd set it aside. Have seen playthroughs of it fully through over the years, but yours was the kick I needed to actually finish it myself. So a big thanks for that. This was super fun to watch! As I mentioned in a comment in another video, I don't have the nostalgia others do for this game series, so I'll prolly never go out and spend the 80+ dollars to play it. So it's fun to vicariously get to watch and enjoy it with someone who DOES have that love for it. I don't know if you're looking to do another long series any time soon, but if you want another action JRPG with some gorgeous art and some of my all-time favorite writing, I'd adore seeing you do a playthrough of Tales of Arise at some point. Thanks for sharing your FF7R playthrough on KZbin! 😊 I really enjoyed how you took the game at your own pace and soaked in the environments and story beats. And it was fun to watch someone that knows some plot points from the original, but not necessarily the story in its entirety. It offered some more mystery and theorizing from a unique perspective, not with full knowledge from the original game and also not completely fresh when it comes to FF7. And personally I'd love to see you play both the Intergrade DLC and later on also the next game Rebirth (once I've had a chance to play it blind myself!), but I can understand if that's difficult for YT both from a viewership/viewer count perspective and from an editing perspective. It is a great addition to the main game. As for Rebirth I will confirm that is is massive. That is not said to scare you away as I would love for you to play it on the channel but more just to have for information.

I hope you continue to do the DLC as it bridges the gap for the sequel, and then Rebirth after a having a break. This game is more like a demo to Rebirth considering all this happens in the first 5 hours of the OG. At a guess on why these may not have done as well for views may be just due to timing as Rebirth had just come out (or about to), so most people were interested in that. I don't know how it compares now but I'm guessing these are better now coming back after your break for health reasons. I'm sure if you do play Rebirth on this channel then it will do a lot better now.

I think the DLC is a good smaller experience to enjoy before jumping into rebirth. I fully understand if you'd want to take a break before Rebirth. Its a MASSIVE game. The DLC I would say is recommended tho.

This game was so crazy ,hen it released. It had been 10 years in the making with sky high potential and expectations, to the point that rea hing them seemed impossible. I have fully enjoyed this playthrough. My favorite part has got to be Wall Market. It just so fun, from fight the Hell House in the colosseum to Mr I don't Dance at the Honey Bee Inn, it's all so much fun. I know that you weren't feel well during those episodes, but I could tell that you were still having fun, and fun when you're sick is the best, to me at least. And I totally understand getting emotional at the end of the game. The gameplay is fun and engaging, the story is intriguing, the visuals are amazing and the music is iconic. Most important though are the Characters. Square Enix did such an amazing job bringing the characters to life in this game. Barrett's over the top passion for the planet, Aerith's sassiness and endless optimism, Tifa's mix of strength, caring and insight and Cloud's tough guy act are all on full display, but even more impressive are the depth that the side characters got. Wedge and his cats and his desperate need to make a difference, Jesse and her journey of guilt at the thought that she killed so many people in the first reactor bombing, and on and on. So many characters got so much depth and... I don't even know how to describe it. It's just all really well done, well put together and the result is a game that is not only an amazing tribute to the original but is a joy to experience even if you've never played the original. I totally understand if you decide not to put the DLC or sequel on KZbin. I haven't been able to play the sequel yet, but by all accounts its very long, which would make playing and then editing it all down a monumental task. Whatever you decide, I pray you have luck, good health and good friends, for they are the greatest gifts can receive in this life. ... Boy that was sappy. I must be getting tired. I am not a regular of this channel so take my comment for what it's worth, but personally I enjoyed this series the most and is one of the few that kept me coming back to check your content every now and then. Maybe because I have a strong connection with the original and therefore I appreciate the remakes in light of that. I am not really interested in how you take on battles, but I loved to see your reaction to the environments and the narrative beats. If you play Rebirth, maybe a supercut montage of these moments could be an idea? I would definitely come back for that! Then again, I guess in the end that would not be less work than your regular gameplay videos, so maybe not really worth it for you. Regardless, thank you for this ride!

I loved watching these vods, but it is a bit of a commitment to find time, even just putting them on the side monitor or w/e which was part of why I personally put watching your playthrough off for a bit (I was still catching up with another playthrough series as well). I think this game is amazing. My only (minor) complaint is that now we'll never see a true, exact remake of the original with updated graphics and voice acting. The desire for that 'remake' from the fandom is what allowed this game to exist, but because of the 'Re-make' that will never happen. Ironic. I love the games we got, but it's a little bittersweet from someone who played and loved the original.

I think you did such a great job with this game! I enjoyed watching your letsplay more than when i played it myself to be honest. I always enjoy your reactions, and i'm amazed by how you pick up on the signposting that the game gives to predict what's going to happen. You also absolutely destroyed the battles as well, where i really struggled the whole way through. Basically you're a god. Aerith is my fav so i will always love Cloud & Aerith's day out the most, but i also really love the train graveyard, just from an enjoyable side-plot perspective. I have to say, i didn't really love the remake, or the changes it made, but one thing i do appreciate is Aerith being more involved, and speaking more on Sephiroth than i remember her doing in the original. Some members of the party have personal grudges against him, but the situation between Sephiroth and Aerith goes much deeper, and it really makes sense for her to act on it. I hope you do play the second game, and post it at least for your members. I don't really have any interest in playing it myself at the moment, but i'd love to watch you play it! ❤

Final Fantasy in general - and FFVII: Remake/Rebirth in particular - are real comfort games for me, and watching you play and enjoy this game so thoroughly has been a real comfort for me - right now especially (life is a hard yo...) Is there chance you might do the InterMission DLC for Remake? More than wanting to see you play it, I just think you would really enjoy it. Also, it would likely make for 1-2 videos worth of content, give or take. If not, that's totally understandable as you have a lot on your plate (especially moving into spooky season), but it would be a genuine joy to see. Finally finished watching your play through and it's the best one I've seen of this game. Favourite moment was I think maybe second or third episode with the "friendly staff" telling Cloud that they ain't got nothing for a punk a** b*** like him. Subscribed right away when I saw your reaction to that line XD And yeah, while I'd love to see you react to FFVII Rebirth I'd recommend just playing it by yourself and immersing to it completely if that's what you feel like doing. If you do plan to stream it then you definitely need to plan and map it out because that game is just *massive*. Much love from Finland and onto Silent Hill now it seems :D

The fight with Rufus is my favorite in the game! Especially on Hard mode during NG+, you have to get very good at timing everything just right and the whole fight feels like a cinematic dance. It's SO cool! LOL Also, will you be playing the Yuffie side story before playing Rebirth???

Regarding the potential futures, i havent played rebirth but from what I've seen of this game aerith and sephiroth were both time travelers. And the whispers were trying to stop them from changing the timeline. But Aerith succeeded. Like aerith for sure is, she knew way too much down to even knowing who marlene was without being told. Also, Zack is an incredible character, especially with his relationships with aerith and cloud, and i hope you eventually play his game! Regardless i hope you play the sequel on your own time at least ❤️ and afterwards you can report back to us!

I love and adore your FF VII Remake playthrough so much! When you started posting this I was so happy because this is my most favorite game. It also became my most favorite playthrough on your channel. I was always waiting IF you would play this game because I know how you play games, understand mechanics and enjoy them. Even waiting here long time didn't matter between episodes. I was willing to wait because I love how you played this game. And also your enjoynment of the game was important. I understand that making videos is difficult and not always fun. Streaming might be different than making youtube videos. You stream, you keep vod on the channel. You record and you most of the time have to cut and all. When you do it all by yourself plus regular work it is tough. But still everytime you posted new episode I ran right away to watch when I could. Regarding first episodes having more views or FromSoft games having more. I have seen this happening at other channels. I don't know why is that. It is not only you. If the hype is not there for people after first episode. If they expect some different playstyle, reactions. It is sad when some youtubers have to stop posting series because it is going bad with views. I feel like most youtubers who start with FromSoft are having the same problem. Only these series are really popular. Is it because the fanbase, the followers on the channel,... too many questions. About DLC. I hope you will play. It is not long and I feel like those who watched whole series with you will also watch this. I will! Whenever it would be. Also Yuffie's story is so amazing. And I think you will enjoy it. Now the big elephant in the room. Rebirth. I understand it may be overwhelming regarding how big they made the game. Storywise I feel like the game is not so long. But everything around that is in the world. I went only story on my hard playthrough and finished quite fast. But doing all those things around is a lot. I don't care again when it would be but I hope you would share the story with us one day. I really wanna see your amazing reactions to especially some scenes. I don't care if streaming and keeping the vod on the channel or just playthrough. Or even doing story playthrough and side stuff streaming. Or so. When I played this game nothing felt like a chore for me. More like opposite. And it is not mandatory more like "experience like". I often feel overwhelmed with big worlds, didn't happen in here. Only later with mini games but that was my problem (I wanted platinum trophy). The Remake was a ride but I bet Rebirth would be one Hell of a ride. I also understand if you don't wanna do it. Gonna be sad but life goes on and you playing it for fun and not like something you "have to do" for us is important. Just know that I would go with you on this journey for sure. May not make it live if it would be streamed depends on the time but later my count for views, likes and comments would be there. I don't care about the lenght, even if you would post one video in two weeks for a year. But to experience it with you and you gave us an amazing one in the Remake. Bet Rebirth would be the same. One more thing. The play log. I so love doing FF VII stuff after game end. The play log is so well done if you wanna 100% and they made it even better in Rebirth. Nothing missable, skip through chapters and get what you need. Pretty nice to understand. This was so amazing from them to put in this game. And now the most important: THANK YOU SO MUCH AMBER FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL JOURNEY! ❤❤❤❤Stay positive, happy and most of all healthy. Will look forward to some next playthrough. 😊 Btw. because I know you enjoy these games. Have you thought about some not FromSoft soulslike games like Lies of P, Wukong or even Stellar Blade (even if the last one is not exactly soulslike but still amazing gameplay).

Fantastic gameplay, fun to listen and watch and you have some very good theories. I am not sure what you have next on your list. Yuffie DLC is amazing. After that, I will say FFVII Crisis Core Reunion. Way more linear. It is a prequel and rebirth kinda expects you to have played it.

The good Thing is, there is still the DLC with Yuffie which is totally wort it. (I did not really love or rather Care for Yuffie in OG but i really liked her in the DLC) +Rebirth is there too waiting for you. Rebirth is even bigger as well but better in every Way. Maybe even to big at Times for some. Imo, if Rebirth feels to exhausting for you, move on with the Story and get back to the Stuff thats still open for you. I mean its fine either Way but many ppl cant handle to much Freedom it seems.

Thanks for the series! Even if it's not for everyone in the audience, I absolutely loved the game and the playthrough. Good thing playing it this late: you won't have to wait for years after the ambiguity of the ending but have the option to continue as soon as you like😵

This playthrough was quite a beast but I really enjoyed it, especially your admiration of the art and recounting your childhood memories of FF7. Someday I'd love to see you play the original FF7 up to leaving Midgar, for a fun nostalgia trip and you can see all the changes/expansions the Remake made.

one of my favorite games and one of my favorite playthroughs, thanks for sharing! i hope you do continue with the series. maybe zelda and ff fans are just more subdued? whatever you decide, i'm looking forward to your next effort. i think you're exactly right about the destiny bit. it makes the story fresh for us who do know the original story (whether they change things or not). i like to think that sephiroth actually set the good guys against the whispers because he wants to change fate.

I think if you play the original + crisis core you will be perfectly caught up for the rest of the FFVII games to come! I haven't played Rebirth because its PS5 only but I can imagine how things will escalate plot wise. If you want to start fresh with a new Final Fantasy, I would totally recommend FFX, FFXII, FFXV or FFXIII (definitely recommend X the most though). I absolutely adore your playthrough I really can't wait to see what other games you pick up.

That’s sad you may not play Rebirth due to the views not being well ☹️ And don’t blame yourself on your health! You can’t control that and it’s important to prioritize your health! But yeah, I’d agree maybe Normal was good for you for Remake but maybe Hard would be good for Rebirth? I’ve yet to play Rebirth myself so if you did play it, I’d probably save it and come back to it! 😭
