The guy lost a lot more a lot faster than most. Outliving someone you brought into the world yourself is never easy. It never goes away, but at least you can keep going for their sake, and that’s exactly what he did. It takes strength to stick to the path after losing so much. This reminds me, I wonder if we'll get a final installment to the Mouth series by Neil Cicierega, considering the last installment, Mouth Dreams, did come out fairly recently; I still feel like at least a single track would be appropriate considering the whole point of the mashup series was including a bit of All Star in every track, but in the meantime, this suffices.

Oh man, I played the whole Astro Lounge album constantly starting the summer after 8th grade and still love it now. Of ways to find out the guy died, seeing this video is one of the most ideal and consoling and ideal I can think of. RIP to a legend. When I think back on all the countless Mashups, Remixes, Memes and what have you that this song has appeared in over the years, many of which I absolutely love, it truly makes me realize just how much this song has impacted me. It's made me laugh, cry, jam, karaoke and in a way even introduced me to the full potential of Mashups through Neil Cicierega's incredible classic Mouth series, the first of which dropped all the way back in 2014. What a legacy. Still always get a big smile on my face when I hear even just the iconic whistling used in a Mashup. RIP Steve Harwell, what a legend
