Hello Tim! We hope you’re having a lovely week❤️ that’s very kind of you to say, we certainly hope and try to be respected in the industry! Some days are harder than others of course but we’ll both just keep working at it! Yes I think we both didn’t realise how much the city centre was affecting our mental health negatively, however I’m hoping we will feel a bit more revived at our next location. Yes! Izzie will be able to walk straight to their work in about 5 minutes, which is very exciting! Ciara will be heading up to Edinburgh for the Edinburgh fringe festival for the month of August🙂 Sending lots of love ❤️

Hello Izzie and Ciara you will enjoy the Thames in comparison there's less unsociable boaters, it's a cleaner waterway than the London canal network, about half of the locks are operated by staff and they are all electric, mooring is different there no fourteen day moorings like the cut, but some boroughs are better than others the worse one for me was Spelthorne they react as soon as you moor, it's 24 hour only and you get a visit from a council "officer" to remind you, but Elmbridge across the river has wild mooring communities along Desborough Cut, and you can pay for short term moorings in Kingston and outside Hampton court Palace or you could try Platt's eyott at Hampton they let out live aboard moorings not cheap but affordable, the best bit is the cruise from the river Brent to Teddington Lock on the Tidal section, take an anchour just in case of engine failure and good luck xx

Boater's plans, and I quote: 'plans in sand, written on a rising tide...' The absolute worst thing, and sadly, often unavoidable, is to sail to a schedule. And, I'm sorry to hear about the 'double mooring' situation - and the heat - but handling other boater's lines and moving their boats outside of an emergency is not cool at all. UGH!. Hey guys, I watch a hand full of narrowboat channels and have watched a few of yours and decided to subscribe and, as little help as it may be, wanted to add a comment and a 👍 to help you guys along. I'm an older gentleman living in the states that is envious of the narrowboat continuous cruiser lifestyle so sorry if I ramble on about it a little every now and again. 😁 Oh, Ciara, please sit down behind the piano or, better yet, pick up a guitar (my instrument of choice) and learn to play. I can't tell you how many people I've met, friends I've made and how many times it helped me during those slow or lonely times over the years. Anyway, enjoy your lives ladies, be smart about it but don't forget to enjoy it along the way because it goes by faster than you know. These are the memories that will last a lifetime.
