Nice Q&A. Fantastic editing. Delicious haircut, coffee & cakes. Delightful boy. A little schooling advice from a fellow parent (she's now 15, born in Lancaster, UK) who has regrets: 🤔 William is currently still very much in the "nature" part of his life - un-self-possessed, just free & safe in his environment to play & learn at will. Primary school (age 4-10) is great & gentle for teaching them how to deal with other people, share, discover & learn the basics. However, secondary school is violent in every way; they deal with people from different backgrounds, beliefs, biases & attitudes; peer pressure is overwhelming & frightening. Consequently their education can be waylaid & it's the teachers & other pupils that "nurture" your child. I would highly recommend working your backsides off while William is at primary school, then taking off with him, around the world, schooling him online (there's lots available) & encouraging him to form his own opinions about others through travel & adventure.

Agree! Homeschooling is the way forward! Online resources and allowing the child to be fully immersed in their interests for as long as they like before moving on. Ken Robinsons thoughts on education were so true. Also, homeschool children aren’t lonely, they just get to choose and thrive within their own friendship groups chosen by themselves.

This video reminded me that I told you before William was born that you were the cutest couple on the cut! Definitely proved it today! Love you guys (includes William! ) & love watching your videos. Jo, have you considered homeschooling for William. He's such a bright & inquisitive little boy that it seems he would be a joy to homeschool. I think inquisitiveness is half the battle to learning so you're half-way there. I'm not sure if homeschooling is common in UK, but here in US the number is growing by leaps & bounds. The shutdowns took a huge toll on our children & on education. Just a thought. 🤔 William is learning tons from your travels and both of your occupations. Vic, best Q&A I've seen. You're a great editor. ❤😊👍

I totally agree with the home educating thing, my daughter home educates ( most home ed`s don`t like the `schooling` word) my 8 year old grandson and he is the brightest kid. OK, his writing could do with some work but ask him about the world, the universe, nature etc and he will pretty much know the answer, he reads constantly. I think Jo AND Vic would be perfect home educators for William, look into it, there is a mass of stuff, lesson and project wise, on the internet. Great videos by the way, my favourite on YT 😊

I cannot recall a single episode which I have skipped through or played at a higher speed just to get through, as I often do for much of my KZbin consumption.
