Info on the pond for you guys! 1. That shrimp was a female!!! You can tell by how her back has a hump! 2. Hornwort is renowned for it’s ability to filter and aerate water. It also helps shelter shrimp! 3. I recommend trying to add ghost shrimp to your pond, in particular, Palaemon paludosus, the Florida Ghost Shrimp. While in aquariums they are tough to breed, in a pond, they may breed very well!

Then you were worried about Kevin. 💛 Made me nostalgic for the years when my 4 kids were little and how I wished it would have worked out to stay married to their dad. 💛 It didn’t, and I miss that. You can introduce water hyacinth into your bog. It grows really fast and pulls out tons of nitrogen. And it is safe to feed it back to your animals as long as you don't use any harsh chemicals in your pond. Water hyacinth is considered an invasive species in many places though, but as long as your pond is not connected to any river, you'll be ok

Mosquitos thrive in stagnant water. Since our pond is constantly running & there's a decent current, we should be fine 👍
