I loved hearing the chatter on... not creative burnout, but creative fatigue. I do a lot of art, and I've learned to recognize when I'm just *done* working on something for the night, or even the week. It's important to keep creative momentum going for me, but I'll take breaks when I need to just to avoid burnout.

I really needed to hear what Scar said here 22:25, I'm in my 20's and work different fields, although I'm a farmer during summer months during the winter and fall times I have been doing wood working and concert photography work, including photography work for small businesses. Its hard to be creative sometimes and come up with new ideas to produce that both the client and I would be proud of. Burnout is such a real thing, its cool to see more and more people talking about it and bringing awareness to it. It's a thing so many people go through.

To "muscle through" creativity one must have several stages of projects so there is always grunt work to turn to. When I can't think, I work on material preps or infill or whatever.

My go-to inspiration game is Outer Wilds, man. I've never seen so much effort put into one project - the story, the planet, space ship and character designs, the music! It’s all just amazing. And when I'm feeling that I'm losing touch with the world, I kind of immerse myself in that game. It really helps

Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are such fantastic games!! You're in for a good time when you get around to them :3 The world in those games is so beautiful, and BotW especially has such this cool, lonely atmosphere as you explore. Excited to hear you're planning on playing them!

Great stream, Scar! Wishing you nothing but the best this holiday season! 💚 Ocarina of Time is my favorite Zelda and game and it's always where I go to get recharged. I definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to get the best Zelda story. But also, Grian is totally right and you can't beat the experience of running around and exploring Hyrule in Breath of the Wild. Hope you get the chance to play them soon.

I think scar would be blue cheese. On first glance it looks diseased, just like the name Scar calls to mind a burly gangster, covered head to toe un wicked scars and probably tatoos, than can and will pound you into a pulp. But then you find a lovable, wholesome, goofball, with no awareness of his surroundings, and a thirst for arson. Just like blue cheese is actually really good, or so I've heard, i have never tried blue cheese because it looks diseased. Maybe not the best example then.
