Exact same coilovers I picked up 6 months ago. 10Kg front 8Kg rear. I am totally satisfied with the performance so far. Great vid man. Also after you wait a week or so, dont forget to compensate for your weight on the driver side, have someone measure when you sit inside.

The new coilovers look good, Dustin.💚 Not too much cussin' involved in the install either.😉 That scene where you used your legs for a jack tripped me out a little bit. I'm surprised you went for HP before handling. Suspension was my first mod, oil pump and brakes are next then into the HP!

I've always been that way. I like to feel the power when I press the accelerator. Don't have to go on a twisty road to feel fast. But this car had adjustable shocks and lowering springs when I got it, so I didn't feel the need to upgrade at first.

I usually just put the nut back on so I dont f the threads up and hit it with a softblow hammer . Then remove the nut and pull out the bolt

How do you like the coilovers over the last year? I have HKS on my GTR now and ready for a change.

I like them. I don't really have anything to compare them to as far as other coilovers, so I couldn't tell you if I like them more or less then HKS or BR Racing for example. I just street drive so far, so I can't give an opinion on how they perform in racing scenarios.

Could you show a picture of where you placed the jacks? Or put it on your blog? I guess it would be the sills, but mine are a bit damaged towards the front, so I'm wondering if these would still be usable.

I use my QuickJacks to lift the car 98% of the time. But if you're using jack stands I would put them on the subframes in the front and rear. NOT on the frame rails or sills. These cars are old and will most likely crush the rails. My QuickJack uses rubber pads on the frame rails when it lifts so it doesn't crush them.

@@Goodezilla thanks! I'm using the stands on the subframe in the front, but still using the factory recommended spots in the back. I guess I should move them. With your quickjack, are you lifting by the sill? Or the rails that are more toward the inside of the car? I guess the one you have is short enough to fit between the tire wells?

@@galloway_joseph I lift the car on the frame rails with the QuickJack. It has rubber blocks that absorb and pressure points on the rails. it works well. Saves me about 20 mins getting the car in the air each time! I have a link in the description if you're interested in a quickjack.

Did you have to loosen any sub Frame bolts or suspension bolts so they don’t bind with the new coilovers adjustments?

@@Goodezilla lol yes seems pretty straight forward but a shop told me all the suspension part bolts have to be loosen so the bushing dont bind with the new coilovers and then tighten again!! seems like a money grab!!
