I haven’t imported anything yet, but having seen enough unboxings that had - ahem - a bit of an issue 😉, I always thought if it were me, I’d use my spray mister to hit the dry roots first, let them sit on a damp paper towel for a while, and then submerge in water or pot in moss so as to avoid the shock effect. No idea if it would work though 😅

Just be aware that once you order, there is a 3 week or so lead time before they post because they get all the phytosanitary certs and what not. And then they box them up and ship. So don't leave it too late or you risk it being cold when they're in the mail :)

I was defo nervous about it... I mean I would be if any plants had been in the post that long. I'm not sure how well they're going to grow but I have hope! It wasn't the sellers fault they got stuck so long though. Had I had a PEACH account already, I think it would have arrived much faster!
