Back in the day gratuity was when you were served at a sitdown restaurant you paid a tip. To go through a drive-through and grab a hamburger and a fry. I personally don’t think a gratuity is warranted. Sorry, I worked for 45 years with the public I didn’t get tipped didn’t expect it either. I was paid by my employer, my wage, so yes I think it’s really gotten so out of hand. PS really enjoy your videos. Yes eating out is so very expensive now.

When I was pregnant with my son all I could eat was hot dogs and milk. With my daughter all I ate was tacos and herbal tea. Everything else made me sick. I love Blakely's smile. We don't eat out anymore, it's so expensive. I question how people can afford to eat out for their meals and buy coffee. They must have credit debt and be unhealthy. Loved you video as usual.

I love Hardee’s! I always get the hot ham and cheese. We don’t have a Hardee’s close, we live in northern Minnesota, so we drive 1 1/2 hours to shop and I get my ham and cheese.

I love pizza too but do homemade more than anything. I stopped going to fast food years ago because it just wasn’t sitting well with me, but I did stop the other day to get my grandson a happy meal and a chicken sandwich for myself and it was like $13. The chicken sandwich was one of those little ones. WAY too expensive for me on a fixed income. Thank you for the tour of foods and you’ll at least have leftover pizza for a while. Enjoy you eggs !!! I love Pizza Hut also. Dominoes here in Alabama makes a gluten free pizza. I wouldn't be going out to eat there either. Prices here are high also but not like there. Love your family. Ty for sharing.

I've been living on the $5 meals from McDonald's and BK here in Oregon lol 😆. McDonald's is a McDouble, 4pc nugget, small fry, and small drink for $5. KFC has also been having $5 deals like a 3pc chicken strips and seasoned fries or a famous mashed potato bowl. The apps are amazing for all of the fast food places and grocery stores like Safeway & Fred Meyers. BTW, my niece has celiac disease and is gluten free. She loves the gluten free pepperoni pizza from Papa Murphy's! 😋

What a fun video! When I went t AZ for a wedding this summer I packed A soft sided lunch cooler bag and a soft freezer pack and went to the grocery store to get food to eat in the hotel and to take food & drinks with me in the car during the day on my outings. I also froze water bottles to take in my cooler.

Our favorite fast food is probably Chik filet and my daughter loves McDonald's chicken nuggets. We love pizza from Pizza Hut and you can also earn points at Pizza Hut. We don't have gratuity here but they ask if you want to round to the closest dollar it's for the Ronald McDonald House. We have a family of 3 and it usually cost us around $20-$25 to eat fast food. Everything has gotten expensive so we usually eat at home. I really enjoy your watching your videos and the babies are really growing. Thanks for sharing for pregnancy craving video.

In our area in Eastern WA, Papa Murphys has a special for $12 large pizza with up to 5 toppings on Tuesdays. It’s much cheaper and the only day I order pizza from Papa Murphys. Even then, it’s only once in a while. We usually make our own!

We rarely ever eat out. It is too expensive, and we try to support local businesses when we do. Kiladi Brothers coffee in Soldotna is a lot better. They don't charge for cream and it is cheaper than Starbucks. Burger Bus in Kenai is reasonably priced. It's a good burger but is closed from the middle of December to April.

Yeah, my family ate out every Friday when I was a kid. My favorite place was Arby’s. They aren’t in business around here anymore. I am now Gluten, Lactose and Soy Free so I don’t eat out anymore either. I’m afraid of the safety of the food also.

Brownie blizzards are very good. I can get the cheeseburger, fries, and a drink here for under ten bucks. I had the picnic peach cobbler blizzard earlier this year and it was very good. We really only eat out together at the local Mexican restaurant and then a pizza place in a neighboring town. Sometimes we eat breakfast out at a local place. If we eat fast food, it's when we are out and about separately and not a family unit. It is extremely expensive now.

Eat up Gillian, baby gets what baby wants ❤ you’re looking wonderful ❤ With my first born (boy) I could smell ground beef being cooked for miles away and couldn’t stomach it so I ate chicken and fish! With my second child (girl) I couldn’t even say the word fish without getting sick, we were stationed in Rhode island and that sucked so bad as we caught so many ocean fish! And I love fish!! I only tip for sit down, wait on me, at the table service. I stopped eating fast food years ago and don't miss it. One of my major pandemic skills was learning how to make awesome homemade pizza. Blake, have you tried any of the gluten free breads and rolls? Are they even available up there? Or making your own with buckwheat or oats or potatoes? Not really any harder than making sourdough. Have you ever thought of growing sprouts for a vegetable they’re really cheap and you get to have your vegetables and be healthier even the kids could help you grow them they might be kind of fun to try. They’re really easy. You can even grow them in a pop bottle. Just make a window and lay it sideways soak one day and then rinse every day last day put in the lighter place.

At Starbucks they should’ve given you the option of coffee not an Americano. They actually upcharged you there. They usually have two types of coffee offered and you just add in cream and sugar or sweetener. Pike Place roast is almost always offered. Fun video and interesting to see prices.

Fast food has already gotten expensive without adding gratuities. I like it when they have tip jars, so that if you want to leave a tip, you can. I'm from Texas, if I ever leave the state, the first place I want to eat is Whataburger! Chick-fil-a is my second favorite. Both places have good tea as well. Love watching your videos. Awesome video again. My husband and I don't eat takeaway either. It has changed so much since after the C19. If we do go out it will be to the have pub food. We haven't been there for a long time. I have also been very sick. I had a virus on my brain. So we had cooked meals from the shops. Like the frozen pizzas, ready cooked meals, etc. I don't cook 7 days a week. Specially in summer, there is lots of salad, beetroot, pickled cucumber, coleslaw and pasta salad with different kind of meats. I have an airfryer that does both oven and air. The steaks taste so good when made in the airfryer. It doesn't heat up as much as the stove/oven does. I have rambled on more than I should. We have the ALDI coffee pod maker. Lisa not Bob. I don’t do fast food much. I do have all the App’s and it helps a lot. I live in Socal. and the prices are the same. I can duplicate most of the meals and can make them better. You can google most fast food recipes. Just got a Blackstone and been cooking so many great meals. I have been making Pizza on my Blackstone. Yes I can cook outside year round that helps.

My favorite fast food restaurant is Portillos. It’s not everywhere and nowhere near us now. We don’t normally go out to eat. It’s expensive. Our favorite Mexican restaurant is El Acapulco. (Haven’t been there in over 2 years). I am Puerto Rican so I prefer Puerto Rican food and I cook it myself.

I do not know about everybody else but, the prices you paid are pretty normal here in Georgia in comparison. It's about the same. Dairy Queen was a little high but, unless I get specials it is not a place I usually go. As for me, I LOVE Marco's Pizza, Moe's, Taco Bell, and Chic FIL A , but it's gotten pretty high so usually I don't go there. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your videos, watching your family grow !!!! Starbucks just about the same $ here in Oklahoma - gotten really spendy but also still good and consistent taste (ie: peppermint mocha still yummy!)... there is pretty stiff competition from Dutch Brothers and a more local chain called Scooters. Not too many independents anymore. Yes, Mc D's french fries are very close to the best out there. We have Sonics and their burgers and onion rings are pretty darned hard to beat. So fun to see this different video but we agree, fast food is pretty expensive anymore for a family~
