Also cows need a lot less nutriances then us. With different amount of each. For example (may not be true) a cow may need more vitamins for digestion becuase they need to digest grass. While we don't. However we may need more stuff for the brain as our brains are more complex and need extra energy. The flavour of milk is up the amount of protein and stuff and is determined by the amount we need

Dear GMM Guys, I suspect your human milk was spoiled when you drank it. It will go bad quickly if it is not kept cold. Once it has turned it almost tates like bad plastic, and sometimes old cheese. Babies often refuse to drink it after it has turned. However, fresh, properly stored human milk tastes almost like cookie milk - you know, the left over milk after you have dunked your chocolate chip cookie in it. Thanks for the entertaining episode! Thanks for talking about the donkey milk. My best friend has a rare autoimmune disease called Myasthenia Gravis. (It's a neuromuscular autoimmune disease that attacks the muscles). I think human milk can vary a lot in taste depending on what the woman eats. For example if they were vegetarian.

Any animal's milk is that way. That's why they mentioned "grass fed" in the camel milk and that's why feeding farm animals in general is such a precise job, what they eat affects the quality of everything that get harvested from them whether it's milk, meat, eggs or freaking hair.

I'm not sure if this is the reason why breastmilk is sweet, but babies love sweet taste. I think it wasn't enjoyable because most people have a pre-determined conjecture of what milk should taste like, which isn't sweet. So if you expected it was going to be sweet, it'd probably taste okay to you.

Human milk contains more lactose than other milks. That is why it is sweeter. Lactose free milk is also sweeter because lactose is broken down to glucose and galactose(those are sweeter than lactose). You can try that, it's not expensive.

I wonder if the fact that the human milk tasted so bad compared to the others has to do with us being meat eaters while the other animals just eat grass. Maybe the lesson from this is to only drink milk from herbivores? Then again you never tried milk from a true carnivore (like a wolf or lion). Human milk might just taste weird because our diet is so weird in that we eat a variety of things. lol

Humans are suppose to drink human milk, the fact that people think it's more normal to drink the milk from any random animal that can lactate is mind boggling. Human milk has so many heath benefits from helping with depression and skin issues to even improving the immune system which can help those diagnosed with things such as cancer and HIV. I personally don't drink human milk because I don't like milk in general and human milk is really expensive so even if I wanted to drink it I wouldn't be able to afford it but seriously before slating something you should do some research on it. Take the "ick" factor out of your head and realise that breast milk is the most natural milk for humans.....not "babies".

When my family had goats we made sure they ate lots of grass and underbrush, because when they eat sweet feed, the milk tastes sour and feels grainy. That might have something to do with how bad the human milk tasted.
